Fyodor's POV

We walked down the hallway, Sidorenko is, well, let's say, upset about my words. But, there is no way back now that I said it.

Sidorenko: "Bro, have you lost your mind?! Are you drunk or some shit?!"

Fyodor: "Nope."

Sidorenko: "You sound totally chill about it. Are you really alright, bro?"

Fyodor: "So?"

Sidorenko: "So what?! You're really gonna quit Tank Class if you lose! That's terrible!"

Fyodor: "Come on, dude. He is not that of a big deal. Look at him; he still plays with goddamn toys like a baby and wants to order me around? Well, too bad he won't be there for long."

Sidorenko started praying again. He prayed like it is for his damn life. What a baby.

I will win and change things around the place. I can't stand to serve that kind of vice commander no more. If Yuri can tolerate that behavior, well, I simply can't. I'll prove everyone the true power of Kolobanov style.

...

The day of the challenge...

Yuri's POV

The clash between our cousin and my brother is about to start. Both of them will operate one KV-1 and one T-34/85.

Sidorenko and Fyodor are in one team, while Matvey and Dmitri make another team.

I wanted the match to be as fair as possible, so both teams get same number of tanks, two on each side. Grachev and I will spectate the clash, as well as father.

Mitev was on the training grounds, ready to send them to battle.

Yuri: "Match can start." I ordered through the radio.

Mitev: "Affirmative, commander." he responded.

I noticed Dmitri was not quite sure about this whole fiasco. But, I really want to see if he can prove to be worth the position, even though I already know the answer.

I must admit Fyodor is also quite good. He might not let himself to get beaten so easily.

Mitev: "Commander says to get into your tanks and we'll start the timer. You'll have exactly 10 minutes to knock opponent's flag tank. If one's flag tank gets destroyed, the other team wins. Good luck to all of you."

Everyone: "Yes, sir!"

Tanks got on their starting positions. We sent the Il-2 planes to observe the match, so no rules can be violated during the game.

Yuri: "Don't do anything stupid, brother. Show him your strenght..."

Grachev: "This is pointless. Both of them are too good. What if they both knock each other out?"

Yuri: "That can't happen, because there can be only one winner."

He then offered me a smoke, but I refused since I don't smoke.

Grachev: "Let's see what happens."

Prior to the match I discussed with Dmitri that once the match is over, father will review him.

Right now, he's just on time to watch the battle.

Fyodor: "Вперёд!"

Dmitri: "В путь!"
