Chapter 12

"We have to get back now," I said pulling Olivia by her arm.

"Scrooge we need a plan first," she said

"She right scrooge these people could be seriously dangerous," Alex said
"But Sophie is in danger she could be dead!" I said yelling

"She can take care of herself she's tough and can fight she also has her powers," Olvia reassured me.

Olivia then pushed out her giant board and the markers to it "Let's sketch out a plan."

We got back to my apartment to check if she could be there but no sign of her.

We used Alex's power teleport to her room so we didn't have to go through the front door. We got up there and she wasn't there again. We waited a long time and no sigh of her.

"She might be in trouble." I said standing up after sitting there for over 2 hours "She's not here she either ran away or she was kidnapped."
"She might be in another room scrooge we can start there," Olivia said.

"Why don't we all look through all the different rooms?" Alex suggested.

"That's a good idea but we have to stay together. Alex could also be in danger." Olvia said

"Good point why don't you two go together I'll go by myself I used to work here," I said.

"Yeah, good idea," Alex said

"Be careful," Olivia said.

After that we all went our separate ways I checked downstairs they checked upstairs and nothing on my part.

I hate to admit it but I was scared if I ran into her dad again I could get beaten up again or worse. I didn't want it to happen ever again.

I ran over to the living room if she wasn't in her bedroom she would most likely be in there but still nothing. I looked through the room again it looked the same as before a portrait of them all dark couches and wallpaper and looking at the portrait there was something off now looking at it. The eyes were like buttons for Mr. Buchman now looking up close. I tapped the two buttons and the wall spun and brought me to the other end of the wall.

Why would they have a secret passageway I thought

I walked down the pathway of the cave and it brought me to a secret office full of weapons, a bookshelf full of books a board full of Sophie, and  Leonardo himself. He had a portrait of Leonardo himself. I've never seen what he looked like.  He looked just like Sophie and had her birthmarks with green highlights I'm assuming from his powers.

What was going on? Why would he need this? Why would they need a whole room just for Sophie and her powers?

There was a journal on the desk that I was next to it was Mr. Buchmans I read the first page. This had to answer this stuff about the Buchmans and Sophies' powers.

The green warrior we need it to open the portal to the dimension of monsters I can't do it myself the prophecy states that I need the green warrior or the shadow warrior but they aren't alive anymore. I need to find at least one of them to bring back the leader of the monsters.

"What?" I whispered. 

The next pages were about the same thing until they started talking about Sophie...

I found the green warrior the ultimate weapon the prophecy talked about she has a lot of power and my wife/partner will train her maybe she could be the leader of monsters.

The next page said Her powers didn't work and just had weird birthmarks.

Didn't they know Sophie had powers?  And Sophie is not related to them at all...

Her powers started working waiting until she turned seventeen where her true powers would be unlocked.

"True powers?" what powers she did have a new streak in her hair and then I saw the next page Leonardo Golden with his hair turning a bright golden color and the same with his eyes his outfit transforming making him look like a God.

I turned to the last page and I turned a pale

She figured us out and she wanted to leave. We had to lock her up and on her seventeenth birthday in a week. We will transform her into the ultimate weapon and unlock the monster by using the shadow sword.
