The next day Lady Danbury walks into Anita's room. Anita was sitting reading her book. She looked up to see Agatha and said, "Auntie Agatha? What can I do for you?" Agatha walked over to Anita's closet grabbing a suitcase. "You will be staying with the Bridgerton's till the Season is over." Anita nodded, as she walked over to the closet, grabbing her outfits and clothes, putting them into the suitcases. A servant grabbed Anita's bags as they headed down to the carriage so that she could go to the Bridgerton's home. She got in the carriage as she called out to the driver to go to the Bridgerton's home. She watched as the trees passed by as she smiled at nature in front of her. She watched as couples walked down paths in the gardens. The carriage stopped in front of the Bridgerton household. The door was opened for Anita as one of the carriage men helped Anita down from the carriage. She walked to the door knocking on it as one of the servants allowed Anita in.
She walked into the drawing room to see Benedict sitting on the couch reading. "Benny." Anita called out. Benedict looked up to see Anita making him get up and smile. "Anita, you're here." Anita smiled at Benedict, walking over to him. They hugged each other as Benedict saw people bringing her bags to her room. "I'm so happy you'll be staying with us." Benedict said looking down at her. Anita blushed as he grabbed her hand and showed her to her room. "Thank you, Benny. I'll see you at dinner tonight." She kissed his cheek and went into her room unpacking all her clothes. A knock on the door appeared as she announced for them to come in. "Are settling in nicely?" A voice asked. Anita looked behind her to see Lady Violet. "Yes, thank you for allowing me to stay here. Benedict showed me here." Violet walked over grabbing Anita's hands.
"You will make a beautiful bride to any lucky suitor Anita." Anita smiled at Violet as a maid came in and said, "Dinner is ready Lady Bridgerton." Violet nodded, as the two girls walked down to the dining hall to enjoy dinner with the rest of the family. Benedict grabbed a chair for Anita, pulling it away from the table. Anita sat down as Benedict pushed the chair in and then sat in his own chair beside her. Food was put in front of the family as they all enjoyed their company and food together. "So, Anita what is it that you look for in a husband?" Anthony asked.
Anita looked at Anthony and said, "Well, he has to be kind, loyal, honest, and a family man. I want a big family like you guys. Having siblings has always been a dream. Not knowing who my true parents are. That is always been a wish." Benedict looked over at Anita with awe in his eyes. Violet noticed ever since Benedict was younger, he had always had eyes for Anita. She hoped that someday he would push forward with his feelings and court young Anita. Knowing the young girl and asking her the same questions. It was always Benedict that was in her description.
