Agatha Danbury is a spinster who wished to have a child. On the side of the road Agatha saw a young girl begging for food. She took the child in and the girl was named Anita.
Another beautiful day in the Ton and everyone was out for the day. Daphne and Simon were walking again as Agatha Danbury and Violet Bridgerton were behind them speaking about everyone. Benedict and Anita did go with them, but they had a picnic ready for them in a different area. Benedict had the whole day planned for them and who knows maybe something more will happen. Anita was staring out onto the water in front of them as Benedict was snacking on a strawberry. He was admiring Anita's beauty as the wind picked up her hair. Suddenly they heard giggling behind them which made them look. It was some children playing around while their parents held their younger sibling. Anita smiled at the sight and said, "I wished to have a family as big as your family Benedict." Benedict took her hand making her look at him and he said, "Someday you will my darling." Anita smiled, as she took a bite of a strawberry. Benedict started to get nervous but held it in as he started to get up. Anita looked over at him and Benedict was on one knee.
"Anita Marigold Danbury, I have been in love with you for years. Being able to court you has been a dream come true. I would be so honored to have you beside me every morning, afternoon, and night. Will you Anita be my bride?" Benedict brought out this most gorgeous ring making Anita gasp in shock as Benedict looked at Anita waiting for an answer from her. She looked at him with a smile and nodded quickly as Benedict put the ring on her finger. The two of them celebrated when they saw their family. They quickly got up walking over to their family making Violet and Agatha confused about what was making them come so quickly. "Mother, Lady Danbury, I have asked Anita to marry me." Violet and Agatha smiled at each other then hugged the newly engaged couple when Daphne and Simon came up. Anita showed Daphne making her smile and Simon congratulating them.
After the time in the gardens. The family arrived back at the house seeing everyone in the drawing room. "We have some excellent new family!" Benedict shouted out to the family. Everyone looked up at Benedict and Anita. Anita showed her ring as Benedict said, "We are engaged to be married." The family rushed up to the couple congratulating them and were excited to invite a new sister. Anita walked up to Eloise, Daphne, and Francesca. "Daphne will you be my matron of honor?" Daphne nodded, hugging her newly appointed sister. Then she turned to Eloise and Francesca and said, "Will you two be my bridesmaids?" The sisters nodded. Anita turned to Hyacinth and said, "Be our flower girl?" Hyacinth nodded, hugging Anita tightly as the family kept celebrating.
