"Yes, Bin, there's plenty of omegas here." Seungmin rolled his eyes, thinking Changbin was checking out omegas while he should have been getting their snacks.
"No, Seungmin. You don't understand." Changbin replied quickly, breathing a little harder than what is normal.
"Just breathe, Binnie, yeah?" Chan calmed him, running a hand up and down Changbin's back.
He breathed deeply and tried again, "I found our omega." And with that sentence finally said out loud, all his mates had wide eyes, each of them looking like a deer in headlights.
"Bin, did you just say you found our omega?" Chan asked. When Changbin nodded his head yes, Minho looked around and asked the question they were all thinking, "Where is he?"
Thinking back to the two cuddled up boys, he spoke, "He was cuddled up with another boy. I couldn't tell which one was our omega. They were so close together -" he ranted.
Jeongin whined. His omega was with someone else? So he wasn't looking for them after all? Minho cradled Jeongin to his neck so he could pump out calming pheromones that smelled like coffee with sweetener. He rubbed Jeongin's back, "Don't worry, Innie. Maybe they are family? Nothing wrong with family being close, yeah?" He tried to reassure his baby alpha, rubbing at his nape.
Jeongin whined even louder. Chan didn't want to attract anyone, so he walked to Jeongin and calmly spoke, "Innie, do you want to go home?"
Jeongin thought for a minute before he shook his head. "No, hyung." He thought about what he wanted to say, "I want to see our omega."
"Innie, I don't think -"
"Me too," Hyunjin chimed in. Chan looked at him with squinted eyes.
"I agree." Seungmin's voice rang out, Minho immediately agreeing with his betas.
Chan looked defeated. He didn't want to hurt their feelings by telling them no, but he felt like if they found their omega cuddling up and being all lovey dovey with someone else, his mates would have a broken heart that he wouldn't be able to fix.
Chan sighed, not sure how he's feeling about this. Changbin finally spoke up again, "Not only did I find him, but they walked off together, and I didn't see where they went, but -"
Jeongin whined even louder if that was possible. "Hyungggg." Holding onto the sleeve of Minho's shirt and hiding his face even further into Minho's neck, trying to hide the hurt expression falling over him.
"Let me finish, Innie." Changbin said calmly. "I didn't see where they went, but they smelled of vanilla and strawberries."
His mates perked up at that. "I don't know if this helps, but," he was hesitant as he grabbed his phone. "I got a picture when I was standing behind them." His mates jumped up all at once to look at his phone as he pulled up the picture and showed them.
"Oh my god, they are tiny!" Hyunjin squealed.
"Which one's our mate?" Jeongin asked, hopeful.
"I'm not sure, Innie." I didn't get the chance to talk to them.
"Hmm," Minho started, almost thinking out loud, "they both are indeed tiny. Maybe they are both omegas?" He suggested.
Looking at the picture, they could see it. The same questions running through all of their minds: Could both of them be omegas? Could they both be their omegas?
"Channie, can we please go look for them?" Jeongin asked his alpha with the biggest puppy eyes he could muster. He knew Chan was a sucker for his big eyes.
