After listening to what the doctor said, Chan breathed out heavily. He was happy that Felix and Seungmin would be discharged today, but now there is no home to go to and no way of properly caring for his mates. His sweet pumpkin scent turned sour quickly. "What about Jisung?" He asked with a soft voice.
The doctor hummed. "It seems his body still needs some recuperating, so he hasn't woken up just yet. But his vitals are normal. However, I still can not detect if there is a concussion or not. His lungs seem to be fine, and no wheezing can be heard, so that is great. Other than that, all we can do is wait for his body to wake up."
"What about the transfusion? Did that go well? Does he need more blood? Is that why he isn't waking up?" Chan asked the questions without giving the doctor a chance to answer any of them.
"The transfusion went well. His body seems to be accepting the blood with no problems. I don't think he needs any more at the moment, and I surely don't think that is why he's not waking up." The doctor paused, "His body was put under a lot of stress, and maybe he was just in a state of fragility, which could be causing him to be in a coma-like state. I have no doubt that he will wake up, I just don't know when that will be."
Chan heard whines over the phone, his beta and omega.
"Thank you, doctor. I appreciate you talking with me." Chan sighed. "Felix, Seungmin, we will be back shortly. If there's anything you want or need, please tell Jungkook, and he can text one of his mates to let us know. We love you both so much."
"We love you too, Channie." Seungmin and Felix said in unison, looking at each other and smiling.
Before Jungkook hung up the phone, the monitor that was plugged onto Jisung started beeping fast. The doctor got up swiftly and went to the omega's bedside, looking at the unmoving young man, then looking at the screens above his bed.
Minho, who slept through the doctor's update, was immediately alerted as soon as the monitor was beeping at a loud and fast rate. His eyes widened.
The beeping rang loudly through the phone. Chan's heart started beating fast. He knew he shouldn't have left the hospital. As steady as he could, he spoke. "J-Jungkook, what is happening?"
At Chan's words, everyone was on alert, watching the alpha. Unknowing what was happening on the other line.
Jungkook was shocked, "We don't know. One of Jisung's monitors just started beeping really fast. The doctor is checking him out now."
Chan's eyes filled with tears, but he didn't want to let them fall. Changbin walked over and tried comforting his pack alpha, offering hugs. Chan couldn't hold in his emotions anymore. He started crying. Hyunjin and Jeongin came around and hugged their alpha as tight as they could. Changbin took the phone carefully from Chan and handed it to Namjoon.
"I-I knew we shouldn't h-have left, Bin." Chan sobbed. Holding onto his mate like his life depended on it.
"Chan, you didn't know anything would happen. It's not your fault." Changbin replied softly, running his fingers through his mate's dark hair.
The pack alpha couldn't help himself. He cried harder, and if it weren't for his mates holding him upright with their hugs, he would have fallen long ago.
Namjoon spoke into the phone, "Kook, please keep us updated. We are going to try to make this super fast."
"Okay, Joonie. Please be careful. I love you."
"I love you, too, Kookie." The line went dead, and Namjoon's phone went into his pocket. He looked to San and waved him over to a more secluded spot. "I think it would be best if we get them their phones and send them back to the hospital. Something is happening with Jisung, and Chan needs to be there. He's not in his right mind to be out here running errands."
