Thank you for 7k reads a couple of days ago 🥹 You guys are phenomenal.

I finally was able to finish this chapter after SO much editing. Idk how I feel about it, but it's the best I liked out of the different chapter endings I had.

I hope you enjoy!

Seungmin flipped the switch down, and the chains holding their omega lowered. Everyone let out the breaths they were holding.

Chan, Jeongin, and Changbin were there to hold Felix's body as it came down slowly.

Jeongin started shaking while Felix's body got closer. He didn't want to watch but he couldn't look away. Seungmin came up behind him and put a comforting hand on his back. The baby alpha hid his face in the beta's chest, Seungmin's arm going around him protectively.

Once Felix's body was in Chan's arms, Changbin got to work on the cuffs that dug into his wrists. He didn't see a hole for a key. "Seungmin, do you think one of those switches is for these cuffs? There's no keyhole."

Minho noticed Seungmin was busy, so he went back to the switches. He wasn't sure which one it might be, so he spoke up, "I don't have a clue if any of these will work, but we will try." He reached for the furthest one on the right. He switched it up, and it turned on some bright lights that lit up the room pretty well.

Unfortunately for them, they could see all the wounds their omega had more clearly.

"I'm going to try another one." Minho said. He went for the first one on the left and switched it up. They heard metal clanking, and Changbin looked down.

"That's the one, Min."

Everyone breathed out. Minho walked to Seungmin and Jeongin, hugging them both.

Chan held Felix's body while Changbin looked over all the wounds.

"Hyung, we need to get him checked out." Changbin spoke softly.

Chan nodded his head and picked up his omega. One hand going under his back and the other holding behind Felix's knees. He stood up and started walking out of the room.

Jisung had his face buried into Hyunjin's neck while the beta held him, the omegas legs wrapped around his waist. The last time Jisung saw Felix was earlier in the day, and his mate was going in and out of consciousness. The omega had no idea if Felix was even alive at this point, but he had hoped he would be.

Chan came into the hallway and walked straight to the front door. His mates following behind, sadness etched on all their faces. Changbin opened the door, and they all walked out.

Once Chan and Changbin had brought Dorian outside with a bloody face, Hintal looked a bit surprised. "Sorry, one of our betas kind of lost control." Chan said sheepishly.

"It's understandable." Hintal said, slightly amused.

He motioned for some of his warriors to restrain Dorian while the other alphas went back to their mates.

He looked to Thom, who was watching Dorian, "Don't feel bad for him, baby. He's going to get what he deserves."

"Oh, I don't feel bad for him one bit, Alpha. I'm glad he's getting punished." He paused, looking to his mate, "I'm just surprised that a beta did that to him." He giggled just the slightest.

Hintal smiled at his mate.

"Alpha," one of his warriors called out, gaining Hintal's attention. "I believe we have restrained everyone who was putting up a fight. Those who chose to surrender are over by those cabins." Pointing to his left.
