Chapter 2

After a long day of cleaning the pack house again, Jisung decided it was good enough for him to take a break even if only for a minute. He slouched against the wall of the hallway and placed his hand over his heart, missing his precious mate. "I love you, Lixie." He whispered.

Since Jisung and Felix were both omegas, they were quite surprised when on midnight of Felix's 18th birthday, they found out they were not only omegas but also fated mates. How interesting a discovery this was for them both as they had never heard of a fated omega couple.

Flashback:
Sitting on the couch, Felix is trying to comfort Jisung. "Sungie, I know you're not happy about being an omega but maybe I can be your chosen alpha or beta when we turn 21 and then you wouldn't have to worry about being a slave in stupid Alpha Dorian's house. Maybe he will finally leave you alone!" Felix said excitedly. Jisung looked at him like he was crazy but it did sound better than having to be a slave to Alpha Dorian for the rest of his life, beaten and bruised because the floors weren't fully clean or the dishes had a speck of dirt on them. Jisung smiled and agreed to Felix's plan.

As midnight crept closer, Jisung was feeling a little antsy, like something wasn't feeling right, but he couldn't place his finger on it. While he was in his thoughts, Felix was watching the clock and counting down the seconds to his birthday.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!" Felix shouted to himself, startling Jisung, who didn't hear a single thing. Jisung blinked once twice and said, "Happy birthday, Lix!" As if he finally remembered what was happening. The boys hugged each other and then looked into each other's eyes with all the love they had for one another. As soon as their eyes locked, their hearts seemingly missed a beat, and the word MATE rang through their heads simultaneously. Both boys had their eyes wide as saucers at this new information.

Felix and Jisung looked at one another, astounded, and in the next second, they locked lips, hoping to be able to feel all the sparks that come with touching your fated mate. Their lips were soft, fitting together like pieces of a puzzle. They moved in sync with one another, hands on the sides of each other's face. The kiss seemed to last for an hour but in reality was only a couple minutes. They broke from the beautiful kiss, breathless and oh so satisfied at finding they are fated mates.

They were so excited that Jisung didn't realize he had started getting cramps. He was wondering when his heat would start since he started smelling his new strawberry scent earlier in the day. He had a feeling he was an omega, but he was surprised when he didn't wake up with cramps on his birthday.

As for Felix, he also started getting a strange feeling in his belly after starting to smell something that resembled faint vanilla. Not thinking anything of it, he went to stand so he could get Jisung some pain killers but upon placing his weight on his legs, he fell to floor with a scream of agony "AHH" He laid on the floor holding his stomach and soon realized that he was also starting his first heat. He looked at Jisung confused, he too was starting his first heat, holding his stomach much like how Felix was. How could the goddess be so cruel as to pair two omegas together as mates without an alpha?

They stared at each other, trying to figure out what went wrong. One thing was for sure, though, and that was that they could not tell anyone. No one ever heard of a fated omega couple, and they didn't want anyone in their pack to find out for fear of what might happen.

End flashback.

Jisung was thinking too long when alpha Dorian showed up around the corner and ran into a startled Jisung, knocking him over.

"What are you doing just standing there, dumb omega? I could have gotten hurt." Dorian replied while rubbing his chest, feigning pain.

"I'm sorry, Alpha. I was just taking a small break since I am done cleaning." Jisung said in a small voice while standing up, looking down to the floor and not into the menacing eyes of the pack alpha.

"Look at me." Dorian said with a hint of anger in his voice.

Jisung looked up to his face but didn't dare look into his eyes, instead focusing on the small, dark freckle on the alpha's chin.

"Do not make me come after you later because you missed a spot while you were day dreaming. This party is super important and I don't need a stupid omega like you to ruin it, understand?" Dorian placed his nose by Jisung's scent gland and breathed in a hefty amount of strawberry.

Jisung replied with a small "Yes, alpha."

Dorian moved away from Jisung's neck and said "You are dismissed, omega. You may go home until I call for you again." And with that, Jisung scurried off to the little cabin that he shared with his beloved Lixie.

"And omega," Dorian called out quickly, "enjoy your birthday because in two years, you will be mine. I'll be sure of that." And with an evil smirk, he was gone. Jisung felt a shiver go down his spine and he knew he had to do something because he was not going to be Dorian's mate. Ever.

Felix was so tired of cleaning the pool area. It was always a wreck and sometimes other alphas would come around to push him in the pool for fun. Luckily for him, everyone seemed to be busy today with the party that he wasn't even bothered one time. So that meant he could clean and be on his way home to his mate.

Once Felix was dismissed, he ran home to find Jisung sitting on the couch holding his knees to his chest and crying. Felix ran to his mates side and tried to figure out the problem.

"Baby, what's wrong? Did something happen today?" Felix asked while holding Jisung as close as he could and rubbing his back.

Jisung wearily replied, "Dorian said he is going to take me as his chosen mate in 2 years"

Felix blue screened. There was absolutely no way in hell someone was going to take his fated mate away from him. Especially NOT alpha Dorian! They had to leave the pack, there is no other way, but how would they do it?

"I won't let that happen, Sung. There is no way I will let Dorian take you from me." Felix said with determination, wanting his mate to feel every ounce of love he had. Jisung hugged Felix tight and they sat on the couch for the longest time just holding onto each other while Jisung slowly calmed himself down. Eventually, Jisung shifted his position to straddle Felix on the couch, he looked into Felix's eyes and said, "I love you so much, Felix. I never want to be without you. I don't want anyone else to have me, unless we find our fated alpha."

"Or beta." Felix interrupted.

Jisung rolled his eyes, "Or beta" he said sarcastically, and let out a little giggle. "Lix, what are we going to do?"

Felix started to think, "Do you trust me?" He asked Jisung who looked at him like he hung the moon and the stars.

"With my life." Jisung replied instantly, not missing a beat.

"Then pack a bag, we're leaving."

Jisung's eyes grew wide and he started to panic. "What? Lixie, what do you mean? We can't leave. You know what will happen." Felix moved Jisung to sit on the couch and caressed his cheek.

"Baby, I've been thinking about this for a while now. We can escape and live the rest of our life in the city. If not for the rest of our life, please at least come with me for the weekend to celebrate our birthdays. You can do that, right?" Felix talked and Jisung listened. He was too stunned and fixated on what would happen if they were caught.

"Lix, we can't. We'll be caught and-"

"We won't, Sung. At least not at first." Felix said with a mischievous smile.

Jisung looked to him with curious eyes and replied "You did something, didn't you?"

Felix laughed and feigned innocence, "Me? I've never done anything bad in my entire life. How could you ever blame something on me? I'm just an innocent omega."
