As they drove back to Washington, the road stretched endlessly ahead, illuminated by the harsh glare of streetlights that cast fleeting shadows over the highway. The car's interior was tense, the silence a heavy blanket between Alexine and Benjamin. Benjamin's hands gripped the steering wheel tightly, his eyes fixed ahead. He broke the silence with a blunt question, his voice carrying the weight of curiosity and judgment.

"So, what's your story? What kind of shit have you been through?"

Alexine let out a heavy sigh, her gaze fixed on the passing darkness outside. She was tempted to keep her past buried, but her doctor's advice about opening up tugged at her mind.

She took a deep breath and began, her voice tinged with reluctance. "It's not a pretty story. I was involved with the Nazis during the war. I had to do things... things I'm not proud of."

Benjamin's face hardened as he processed her words. His eyes flicked to her, a look of disdain creeping across his features. "A Nazi sympathizer, huh?" he spat out, his tone dripping with contempt. "I thought you'd be one of the good ones. Guess I was wrong."

The term struck Alexine like a physical blow. Who did he think he was? He might be a superhero but he didn't know shit.
Anger flared up, and she snapped. "Pull the car over." she demanded, her voice trembling hard and loud.

Benjamin didn't argue. With a sharp turn of the wheel, he pulled the car to the side of the road, the tires skidding slightly on the gravel. He shifted the car into park, and they both got out, the tension crackling in the air.

In the dim light of the streetlamps, the two of them faced off. Benjamin's face was set in a grim line, his eyes glaring at her. Alexine's anger was a storm of emotions, her fists clenched at her sides. "You don't know shit!" she shouted, stepping closer to him.

Benjamin took a step forward, his voice rough. "You're just a nazi bitch who happens to be helpful to the government."

Their confrontation escalated quickly, both of them hurling accusations and insults.
« Do you think you being a superhero gives you the right to judge me?!»
« I fought people like you! I'd do it now if you weren't protected by the CIA.»

Benjamin's anger was raw and unfiltered, while Alexine's rage was fueled by years of unresolved trauma and guilt. Alexine shoved him. She couldn't take his comments.
She wasn't a nazi.. or maybe she was?

He shoved her right back.

« You fight like a fucking pussy. »

Alexine's anger and pain drove her to strike out, her fists meeting Benjamin's chest with surprising force. He retaliated, grabbing her by the shoulders and pushing her back. The fight was messy and chaotic, a visceral release of pent-up frustration and sorrow.

« They fucking raped me! » She shouted as she punched his jaw. Benjamin's eyes widened slightly, and he grabbed her wrists in attempt to get his bearings.
