Jennie pov:

Today was the day that Jennie was discharged from the hospital.

She was diagnosed whit terminal illness and didn't have much time to live.

The doctors said that it would be a miracle if she lived up to two more weeks whitch was not much time.

Jennie and her mother arrived at they're house.

Jennie's mother took a deep breath fighting back tears as she kept on crying none stop she couldn't control herself. She opened the door holding Jennie by the hand and Jennie was holding her suitcase in her other free hand.

The made greated them whit a warm smile but then she realised that something was wrong by the look on Jennie's mother's face.

The maid took Jennie's suitcase.

"Is everything okay ma'am?..."

She asked as she took Jennie by the hand and lead her upstairs to her room before returning and sitting on the couch next to Jennie's now crying mother.

The maid didn't know what to do as she desperately wanted to help calm dowm the elderly woman.

Jennie's mother
"Jennie is slowly dying I'm losing my daughter..."

She said as she kept on sobbing in her hands

The maid's eyes widened as she heard what Jennie's mother said.

"What do you mean ma'am?..."

The maid asked not too sure on what Jennie's mother meant by her words.

Jennie's mother
"She was diagnosed whit terminal illness..."

She said in a shaky voice. The maid couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"Oh..."

The maid was too stunned to speak not knowing what to do in this situation.

Jennie's mother
"You can go back to work..."

Jennie's mother said calming herself down as she sniffed trying to stop herself from crying too much.

The maid had no choice but to obey since that was her job. She got up and went back to cleaning the house. Fromt time to time she looked at Jennie's mother to make sure she didn't completely lose herself while she cried and tried to calm herself down.

Eventually Jennie's mother was calmed down but on the inside she was still crying but somehow managed to calm down on the outside collecting herself so she doesn't lose herself in crying too much.

After a while Jennie's mother slowly collected her thoughs and herself from crying so much and she went up to Jennie's room to check up on her.

She went inside the room finding Jennie by the window. The window opened air blowing her hair in all directions as she just stood there leaning on her hands.

Jennie's mother took another deep breath at the lonely sight of her daughter. It didn't help that it was so silent either.

Jennie's mother
"Jen... Can i come in?..."

She asked making sure that Jennie was okay whit her coming inside the room.

But however Jennie didn't gave any respond. Despite that Jennie's mother came in and closed the door behind herself.

She then went to Jennie and putted a hand on her shoulder giving her silent comfort.

Jennie's mother
"Are... Are you okay Jennie?..."

But Jennie didn't answer whitch made Jennie's mother tear up. As if Jennie could feel her mother's sadness she turned around and hugged her stroking her back her expression blank no emotions shown like always.

Jennie's mother was surprised by Jennie's actions but she hugged her back her body trembling slightly as she was still feeling really emotional.

Jennie's mother
"Are you tired darling?..."

Jennie's mother asked as she felt Jennie stroking her back as she did the same to her.

But Jennie didn't speak. Jennie's mother wondered if it was from the lack of energy she had in herself because of the terminal illness or from something else.

She didn't push Jennie further to talk to her if she wanted to she will if she didn't wanted to she will not. That's how Jennie's mother's mindset was set. She didn't wanted to push Jennie to do something she didn't wanted to even if it meant that it was hurting her. She knew that Jennie sooner or later would speak to her. She just wondered why she isn't speaking now.

The maid then knocked on the door and her head peaked through the door.

As she saw the sight of Jennie and her mother hugging she felt like one part of her soul was healing seeing them like that but also like it was breaking due to the tension in the house now that was.

"Is Jennie hungry?..."

The maid asked as she stepped inside the room by the door.

Jennie's mother looked at Jennie but then she realised she isn't gonna speak at the moment so she silently shook her head to the maid gesturing for her to leave the room that she would come to talk to her later.

The maid immediately understood and got our quietly closing the door behind trying not to make too much noise.
