6 months have passed since Cami's birthday, and everything is going extremely well! Her behavior has changed drastically, Fatima did go back to work, and she received her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner License! She has opened her office "Treasured Pediatric's"! Zac has an office next to her called, "The Dopest Surgeon"! Things are looking up for them and Fatima is due any day now!
Fatima, "Zac can you put the bags in the trunk?"
Zac, "Of course baby! I got it!"
Fatima has been laid up on the couch for TWO DAYS due to Braxton Hicks! They're TEN times worse with her carrying twins! Now y'all know she is hell bent on not bringing these babies into the world without being married! The last delivery scare she had which was Two days ago her and Zac got married in the hospital Chapel! I know not very romantic and this meant all bets were off but it worked out for them and she didn't want a big wedding anyways! The people that mattered were there and that's all she needed! For the past week Cami has been with her grandparents because Fatima has been unable to run after her the way she normally would! She FaceTimes her daily and she does come over and spend time with her when she leaves the daycare!
Zac on the other hand has been working very hard! He has been adding money to their savings making sure they have a trust fund for all the kids and making sure they'll have the proper support to take care of three children with minimal help! He knows he wants to have more Financial Stability before the twins come because he is taking time off to help Fatima until she's ready to go back to work as well! Call it a partnership because he's been all in for a minute and she loves the way he takes care of her!
Fatima is currently in the living room bouncing on her ball! Zac went to the store up the road to get her some ice cream! He will be back shortly! As she's is bouncing she notices that her pain has increased and her pants are wet! She's come to the realization that her water broke! She calmly breathes while stepping into the garage! She notes how far along her contractions are and she calls 9-1-1 first! They're telling her because of the traffic it could take an hour! She knows she doesn't have an hour! She's been a neonatal nurse for years! Delivering babies is a knack she has, she just didn't know she would be delivering her own today! She calls Zac and he picks up immediately!
Zac, "Hey Baby is everything okay?"
Fatima breathes slow, "Yes! My water broke! I called for an ambulance and they're telling me an hour or more! I'm not waiting an hour! I'm about to grab the tarp and when you come in I need you to grab the pool and fill it up! It looks like we are about to deliver our own babies!"
As Fatima was talking Zac pulled up into the driveway and he came in through the garage! He kissed her forehead and took the tarp from her and grabbed the pool! He set up everything nicely in the kitchen and she slid down into the water! He had his medical bag and hers! Once she was settled he called the family! They all stay on the same block or just around the corner so the house was flooded with love FAST! Dani and Lori took the role as her nurses and Sabrina, Andi, and Angela made sure she was comfortable! She realized in this moment that she didn't even need an ambulance because her support system was more than qualified to deliver her babies!
She kept breathing in and out and Zac supported her in every possible aspect! She didn't have any drugs at the moment but she sure wished she did! Of course they didn't know the gender but they did have names picked! Fatima crunched on her ice and she felt another contraction! Sabrina checked her cervix and nodded at her! It was time to push! Zac kissed her forehead!
Zac, "Baby you've got this! Hell we've got this! Are you ready?"
Fatima nodded and lifted her knees up and pushed her chin down and pushed 3 times and baby number one slid out! Zac cut the umbilical cord and Angela and Andi made sure the baby was fine and check the vitals! Fatima breathed in and out and it was now time to get baby #2 out! She was slightly exhausted but it was crunch time! This baby was a tad bit more stubborn and she ended up pushing 5 times before the baby slid out! Zac cut the umbilical cord and Kissed her forehead!
Zac, "You did good Mamas! Real good!"
They help Fatima up out of the water and took her upstairs to shower! Zac supported her and when she finished showering, they helped her into the bed! She had instructed them to pick out the correct blankets and dress the babies according to gender! Cambrí slid into the middle and Zac slid onto the left side! They slid pads under her and she waited patiently for them to bring both babies up the stairs! While Lori and Dani made sure she was okay and Comfortable! Sabrina handed Zac baby #1 and Angela handed Fatima baby #2!
They were in love all over again!
Zac, "Is this what love's heartbeat feels like?"
Fatima, "Try love's heartbeat times THREE but I wouldn't trade this moment for anything in the world!" *Looking down at Cambrí!"
