The Cullens decided it was best to get away from Bella. It was tough trying to convince Alice, but eventually, they had her see Bella for who she truly was.

Jasper was still a bit upset about the whole blood incident, but he was slowly getting better with the help of Liam.

The Cullens decided to stay near Forks, not wanting to leave the town they call home. Liam didn't want to leave Jacob, either. So, the Cullens, being rich and everything, built a house in the woods. Similar to their old house, it was very open and had a beautiful design. The house itself was smaller with only two bedrooms and a bathroom, considering the vampires didn't need to sleep.

They knew they would eventually move back to their home when things cooled down. The small house would become a get-away house for the four mates whenever they wanted to spend time alone (or for the girls if they ever needed to get away).

Liam helped Esme design it, wanting a green colored theme. The furniture was a creme color while they had an accent wall painted sage green. The kitchen was a beautiful cream color with a green backsplash. The handles on the cabinet doors were gold.

Liam had placed plants all around the house despite the cloudy skies claiming they would be just fine, and having little to no sunlight is fine for them.

The plants started wilting after a week - and he forgot to water them.

The boys loved the design even though they didn't understand the importance of it. Liam then went on a ramble about how the green and creme worked together. And they couldn't forget about the gold touches either.

Liam had more control over his hunger than most newborn vampires would, so the Cullens allowed him to start visiting Jacob again. Jacob had called multiple times, trying to get a hold of Liam, but Liam never answered. Truth be told, Liam didn't know where his phone was. He assumed he left it at the Cullens' old house, but when he went there, it was nowhere to be found.

The sky was dark with clouds when Liam finally pulled up to Jacob's house. He was shocked to see Jacob chopped his hair off.

"Jacob! You cut your hair!" Liam called as he closed the door to his car.

Jacob turned his head towards Liam and frowned.

"Nice of you to finally talk to me again."

Liam stopped walking towards Jacob, a confused look on his face.

"What are you talking about?" He asked.

"Oh, don't play dumb with me! You've been avoiding my phone calls because you're too busy sucking faces with the leeches!" Jacob shouted. His hands were waving around with every word. Despite his angry voice and wild hand gestures, deep down, he felt extremely bad for shouting at Liam.

Liam's eyes were wide with shock.

"Leeches?"

"Yes, leeches! I know you know about them, Liam!"

Liam stayed quiet, not sure what to say. From a distance, Liam could see Sam and his club standing near the forest line, shirtless. Now that Liam thinks about it, Jacob was also shirtless. And he has a tattoo now.

"You have a tattoo, Jacob?" Liam asked, leaning his head to get a better look at it. Jacob crossed his arms and used his hand to cover it up.

"It doesn't matter." Jacob said.

Suddenly, it started to rain. And I mean, pour.  Liam stood there, not affected by the rain with his new vampire abilities. Jacob didn't seem to be bothered, either.

The sound of a door slamming shut caught both Jacob and Liam's attention. Bella had come running from the back door, calling Jacob's name.

"Why haven't you been answering my calls?" She asked, voice shouting over the rain.

She seemed to take no notice of Liam, who stepped back a bit in fear of being spotted. He wasn't supposed to let Bella, or anyone for that matter, know that he was still in Forks.

Jacob ignored Bella and looked at Liam.

"Look, I think you should go." Jacob said. Liam mentally started cursing at Jacob for bringing attention to him. He could just strangle him right now.

Bella turned her head, confused. Her eyes widened when she saw Liam standing there.

"You're still here!? How come Edward hasn't messaged me or anything? Why is their house empty?" Bella started shouting question after question, and now, Liam really wanted to strangle her and Jacob.

"I'm just in town visiting," Liam lied before he turned his attention back to Jacob, hoping to avoid any more questions.

Bella turned her attention back to Jacob as well before she noticed the group standing behind them, near the edge of the woods.

"You're hanging out with Sam now? I thought you hated them! What did they do to you?!" Bella asked.

"They didn't do anything. They're my friends now." Jacob still had his arms crossed.

"So what? You go cliff diving, too?"

"It doesn't matter what I do. Sam has helped me." Jacob said.

Bella didn't seem happy about that answer and walked past Jacob towards the group of boys.

"What did you guys do to him!?" She shouted. Her body was shaking with anger. Or maybe it was because of the rain. Liam couldn't really tell. Paul, the one who had taken Liam home, was the one that stepped forward.

Liam couldn't hear anything over the rain that was pouring from the sky, but he could tell Paul was getting really upset. Next thing Liam knew, Bella had slapped Paul across the face.

Liam almost wanted to laugh at how weak her slap was. Paul's body started to shake, and Sam looked genuinely concerned. Before Liam could blink, a giant wolf stood in place of where Paul used to be.

In all honesty, Liam thought the wolf was beautiful. Bella, on the other hand, didn't seem to think so. She quickly turned around and started running towards the house.

Jacob cursed under his breath before he started running towards Paul.

"JACOB! RUN!" Bella shouted as she pushed her legs as fast as they could go. Jacob ignored her and jumped over her head before transforming into a giant wolf as well.

Bella fell to the ground in shock, watching the two wolves fight each other. She turned towards Liam, who was watching them with awe in his face. He never knew other supernatural creatures existed, and now that he did, he wanted to know more.

"Are you stupid!?" Bella broke Liam out of his trance. "There are two wolves fighting over there, and you have a look on your face that just screams 'wow'!"

Liam ignored Bella and started walking towards the group of boys, watching the two fights.

"Are you guys all wolves?" Liam asked.

Sam, who seemed to be their leader, glanced at Liam and frowned. The boys behind him started growling at him. Liam looked at them in shock. He didn't do anything, did he?

"What the hell are you doing on our side of the territory, leech?"

Um.. so I'm sorry for not uploading in a while. I got a new job, and I've just been overwhelmed... I'll try to update more, but I just haven't been in the writing mood lately. I hope this chapter is okay for now. I know I skipped a lot of the movie, but Liam doesn't really need to be like Bella and wallow in self-pity.

Lots of love
