Sam and the others continued to stare and growl at Liam, who stood there with a worried look on his face.

"I won't ask again," Sam said and put his face in Liam's. "What are you doing here?"

Liam backed away and looked around at everyone there. Sam continued to glare at him, Jacob and Paul were finally getting up from their fight, and Bella was still sitting shell shocked on the wet ground.

"I-" Liam tried to talk, but the words got caught in his throat. Why were they so angry at him?

"Spit it out," glared Paul, who finally joined once Jacob and him got up.

Liam looked at Jacob for help, but Jacob only looked away and folded his arms.

"I don't understand.." Liam finally muttered. "Did I do something wrong?"

The boys laughed, minus Jacob, who was now looking at the ground.

"Did you do something?" Laughed Sam. "How about the fact that you're on our land? We have a treaty, you know?"

"A treaty?" Liam asked.

"Yes, a treaty. Meaning you're breaking the treaty rules by coming onto our land, leech." Liam flinched at the name they kept calling him. Nobody mentioned a treaty to him.

"Nobody ever told me about a treaty.." Liam said quietly, looking up at them with wide eyes.

"We'll give you five minutes to get off of our land," Sam said. "And you better not come on it again, or we won't be as nice. Got it?" The boys all turned around and ran off into the woods. Bella finally stood up from the ground, and Jacob stayed back.

"Li Li.." Jacob muttered and tried to walk towards Liam. Liam looked at the ground sadly before looking up at Jacob sadly.

"You didn't help me.." He said, his voice quivering. "They hate me now all because I came onto their land. I didn't know about the treaty Jacob, I really didn't"

Jacob smiled sadly at Liam and pulled him in for a hug. His body felt warm against his bare chest. Liam clung onto him, standing there for a minute before he pulled away.

"I have to go.. you know.." Liam gestures to the woods where Sam and the pack ran off. Bella stood a few feet away, a smirk in her face when she realized this was one thing Liam couldn't have, but she could.

Jacob nods with a sorrowful face and hugs Liam one last time.

"I'll come visit you, Li Li.." Jacob says as he watches Liam walk away.

Liam walks toward the woods, hoping he can find his way back to their cabin.

The walk through the woods was loud. Loud for him, quiet for others. With his new super hearing, everything seemed so loud. It was almost too much. He used to enjoy peaceful walks through the woods. Now, he could hear everything that moved. His footsteps even seemed too loud.

He tried to focus on his thoughts and not the fact that everything was causing his ears to ring.

What treaty were they talking about?

Why didn't anyone tell him about it?

Was he a bit upset about it? Yes. Was he going to confront the Cullens about it? Probably.

Liam wasn't really brave enough to yell at the Cullens, but he knew they had to talk. What if he was hurt? Or worse, killed?

He finally reached their (hopefully) temporary home in the woods. When he walks in, the boys are all sitting on the couch, almost like they knew he was upset.

Liam closes the door and looks at the boys, who are already staring at him.

"Liam -" Carlisle starts, trying to break the silence that surrounded them for a few seconds.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Liam interrupts.

The boys stay quiet, avoiding any eye contact with Liam.

Liam scoffs and turns to walk away to their bedroom. Jasper stands, desperate to stop Liam from leaving. He wasn't sure why they didn't tell Liam about the treaty. He just knew they didn't want him to know about it.

"Baby, wait," Emmett calls, also standing.

Liam stops walking, turning to look at them. Carlisle and Edward stayed on the couch. Emmett and Jasper took steps toward Liam, the motions slow.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Liam whispers, but he knew all the boys could hear him.

"We didn't want you to lose the last bit of your normal life that you had." Emmett said. "We knew Jacob was your best friend, and not being able to see him would break you."

Liam looks down and blinks away the venom in his eyes. Being a vampire sucked. He wished he could just go and sleep this whole incident away.

"It hurt me more that you wouldn't tell me about this. What if I was hurt?" Liam said. "Sam and the guys didn't seem happy that I was even near them."

The boys stayed quiet, not knowing what to say. They couldn't imagine what it would be like if Liam got hurt. He could have been killed for stepping on their land, and it would have been their fault.

Edward finally stands and walks over to Liam.

"We're sorry, baby. Truly, " He said. "We would never want you to get hurt. Ever. We shouldn't have let you over there."

Edward slowly wraps Liam in a hug. Liam responds and hugs him back.

Soon, the rest of the boys join in on the hug, bombarding Liam with apologies.

"We never want to see you get hurt, baby," Carlisle said. "Especially if it was because of us. We wouldn't be able to live with ourselves."

Liam slowly pulls away and looks at all the boys. They have remorseful looks on their faces, each one hoping that he'll forgive them.

"Please don't lie to me ever again." Liam says.

The boys nod before Jasper gives him a light kiss on the forehead.

"We love you, darlin... we're sorry." Jasper says.

Jasper pulls Liam over to the couch and sits him down on his lap. The others surround them, each placing a hand somewhere on his body.

I'm sorry, guys.. I just haven't had the motivation to write that much anymore, and with school starting, I've barely been on Wattpad as much. I want to thank everyone for the love on this book even if I haven't updated in a while.

Lots of luv
