Wakie Wakie

Ben was laying i bed, asleep, hugging the book he had been reading last night. His eyes fluttered open to the sight of Leo standing over him, watching him sleep, eyes wide. Ben screamed.

"I have made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement and I do not expect to be forgiven, I am simply here to apologize. I was acting out of line yesterday. I was too harsh with you. So, as an apology, I have decided to give you a gift." He shoved a box in Ben's face. 

Ben took the box and opened it up.

"It reminded me of you."

"Wow...You think I'm useless?" Ben twirled his hair.

"Very." Leo stared into Ben's soul. "Especially after you released that song with Old McDonald Tommy."

"I-I--I never knew you thought of me that way..." Ben pointed his fingers at each other (👉👈), his face flushed.

Leo stared at Ben before trying to run out of Ben's room, but banged on the door and fell to the ground, his head bleeding. Ben looked up from his gift and ran to Leo, trying to push him awake.

"LEO-SAMA!" Ben cried.

When Leo awoke, he was greeted with the sight of Ben towering over him, cleaning his wounds, laying his head on Ben's lap. 

"You need to be more careful, Leo." 

Leo touched his head, when he let go, his hand was covered in blood. "Why didn't you call 911?"

"I tried. They responded with: Welcome to Dave's Taco and Funeral Parlor, where yesterday's grief is today's beef. My name is Sally, how can I help you?...I tried explaining your situation to them and she said something along the lines of "Sounds like you're gonna have a party. Will that be an extra large then?"..." Ben shook his head. "Nobody understands you...you're...broken..."

"Maybe you can be the one to fix me." Leo mumbled.

"Sorry?" Ben couldn't hear what he said.

"--Nevermind..."
