𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐘 𝐅𝐎𝐑 school for once in her life did not work out as well as Areum attended it to. She thought that by being early, she would have time to sleep on her desk in peace, since she couldn't sleep well lasy night due to binge watching a series. But here she was, early, expecting an empty classroom, only to find it filled with students who somehow had enough energy to be jumping around. Areum simply sat down and laid on her backpack, hoping to catch some sleep before the teacher came in.

No matter how much she tried, she couldn't tune out the conversations happening behind her. And they were all about some baseball game that had happened yesterday. Oh right, the same one that Jugyeong and Sooah went to. Sooah spammed her own Instagram account with pictures of the game and one player in particular, Ryu Hyunjin. She tagged him enough times for Areum to remember his name, she remembered Soojin telling her about her knowing some player.

So here Areum was tired and yawning as the teacher called her to pick up her grade report. She groggily stood up and picked it up, she didn't even have energy to read it fully. Her eyes just fell down to see which number she was in the class. She moved up to number two, but she could not be happy as she was basically about to fall asleep. But her slumber was stopped by Seojun who was very loud "I got 50 on literature!" he turned to Areum with a bright smile "Rumi-ah your tutoring paid off."

The girl only gave him a thunbs up as she laid back on her backpack and tried falling asleep. Her teacher went on a tangent how they were all number one in his heart, but the girl completely tuned him out, dozing off. Once the bell rang, she stretched and noticed her phone had a few new messages, both being from her mother, alerting the teenager that she had come to school to check her grades. Areum stood up with a yawn and slowly made her way to the teacher's office, where she found her mother.

"Hello mom." she greeted with another loud yawn and her mother smiled brightly at her "Rumi-ah, your grades are amazing." she said and hugged her but the principal looked like he didn't agree with her. "It's nothing mom, but thank you." she said and her mother ruffled her hair "I hope you always stay this humble sweetheart." Areum nodded, bid her goodbye to her mother and to the principal who gave her a stern look before exiting. As he walked back, all she thought about was sleeping again.

But as she stepped inside she found an unknown boy standing in front of Jugyeongs' desk. She moved closer to Seojun, as she entere through the back door "Do you have any clue who he is?" the boy shook his head slightly and went back to sleep, Areum wanting you to do the same sighed and tried making her way around the guy, not wanting any more attention on her than she already seemed to have gathered. But as she made her way behind him, she accidentally pushed his shoulder.

He turned around as if to scold her but his mouth opened in shock and she just stared at him, not being able to pass now that he turned around "Do you mind if—" he cut her off with an amazed look "Wow, are you pretty." he let out and then covered his mouth with his hand in shock. Areum scoffed "You come for one girl, and tell another she's pretty? That's disgusting, now if you don't moving." she pointed to her desk and the boy simply nodded. Before sitting down she turned to Jugyeong "Trust me when I say, you don't want this guy."

And with that she sat down, now being fully awake due to the situation, she kept her attention on her phone, but listening on the conversation the two would have. In the end the baseball player gave Jugyeong his baseball ball as something she had to give him back on their supposed date. He then jumped out of the window when a teacher came in "Crazy maniac." Areum muttered to herself after watching him jump out.

Once he ran out, the fangirls and almost everyone else did as well except for a few students here and there. The asked out girl ran outside, while Sooah followed her and both Seojun and Areum gave her a weird look as she ran out. Once the classroom cleared out Seojun walked up to Areums' desk "He's crazy for coming here to ask her out." Areum commented "Wait until you find out just how recently he broke up with a girl." the girl gasped and the boy nodded "He has absolutely no respect for his ex or anyone."

"If you hadn't intervened I would've." he stated and Areum rolled her eyes at the memory "I didn't mean to intervene but it is disgusting how he came to see her and gave me a compliment. That just screams douchebag" she scrunched her nose replaying the scene while Seojun ruffled her head "Now that is disgusting, the only one who can compliment you is me." he said and the fake laughed "Very funny Han, now please leave I want to sleep." he agreed but not before acting out a hurt expression again.

The girl slept through her whole lunch break and was only woken up by Suho for a biology class later on. During the break between classes she went outside to the vending machine to buy something to eat but found nothing but drinks available. She bought a drink and walked back, hoping that it would keep her full until the end of school. What she didn't expect was another sandwich and bag of candy waiting for her on her desk. She had a hunch on who left it there, but he was no where to be found in the classroom.

She sat down and called Soojin over to check her assumption "Did you see who left this here?" the girl nodded "Yeah Seojun did, just left it there and said nothing." Areum nodded "I gotta remember to thank him later." and so she dug into her food. Once she was done she threw the packaging away and finally saw Seojun walking towards the classroom in the hallway, she walked up to him.

He smiled seeing her "Thank you for the sandwich and gummies, how much was everything?" she asked ready to pay him back but he dismissed her question either a wave of his right hand "That's a stupid question Rumi, as if I'd let you pay." he said and walked inside the classroom. "C'mon just this one time." the girl practically pleaded with him but he shook his head "You're not paying me back a dime Rumi. Just a thank you is fine." he said and understanding that there was no arguing with him, Areum gave up.

She sighed "Thank you then, but next time I will pay you back, count on it." she said and Seojun rolled his eyes "Never going to happen." he teased her and she narrowed her eyes at him "Wanna bet Han?" she challenged and he nodded "The bet is on then Areum-ah." their conversation was broken up by their teacher finally walking inside, but Areum already thought of ways to pay back her friend for food he had been providing her.
