𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐌𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 coming up and Areum wanted to get the best grades possible, she did not want to disappoint her mother. Even though her mother told her she did not care, she still felt like she had to get good grades.
And so that's how she found herself using all of her free time for studying at home, all by herself. She hadn't even contacted her friends before, during or after. Her mother occasionally popping in to give her some water or some fruits she cut up for her.
Revising went easy for Areum as she mostly picked up almost everything from classes if they were interesting enough to her. And her method of studying was one she had since she was a child and stuck with.
She would simply write out everything she felt was important on a piece of paper and highlight it to the extreme. Writing the material down would help it stay in her mind, and highlighting would help her remember where it was on the paper.
The method was true and tested by her, so she had not switched it since she was a child. It was around eight o'clock when a ring on the door disturbed her study session. She did not get up as she knew her mother would handle it, but it turned out to be Suho.
Her mother led him into the room where Areum was studying "Areum-ah you have a visitor." she said and turned to the boy "Really nice to see you Suho. I hope you come over more." she smiled and then left the two teenagers alone.
Areum turned her chair towards him, who now sat on her bed "So, why are you here?" she asked with crossed arms, still not over his behavior "I brought you some material we went over in our study group earlier." he answered.
This intrigued Areum as she took the papers he offered her "Study group?" he seemed shocked "Didn't Sooah or Soojin tell you? Or Jugyeong?" the girl shook her head "We have a study group for the upcoming test. Sooah, Soojin, Jugyeong and Sooah's boyfriend."
"You don't remember his name?" the girl chuckled and Suho rolled his eyes "Doesn't matter I thought the girls told you or at least asked you." Areum shrugged and looked over the papers he gave her.
