011; ENVELOPE.

ONE NIGHT, FOUR MONTHS BEFORE.

Dinner at the Yagami household was delectable. This time, you weren't invited, but the family still eats. "Let us pray for our food and feast, please keep us all safe. And for Kir━" Mrs. Yagami is cut off by Mr. Yagami. "Please, don't succumb to him."

They sat in silence for a minute, draining, draining silence. "I'm sorry dear, it's just━" Cut off again, she's forced silent. "..Even if I keep this a secret, you'll find out sooner or later. So I'm going to tell you now. I am currently in charge of conducting the Kira investigation."

"No way! Dad, you really are amazing!" Sayu cheers, her head in her hands, elbows plastered on the table. "That isn't what I wanted to say. Yesterday.. Twelve FBI agents sent to Japan to find Kira..."

"Died, and came back to life."

"...Does that mean they were killed by Kira, and saved by Savia?" Light asks, getting a surprised "what?!" from Sayu. "It means Kira might kill anyone who tries to apprehend him. It's a cold and ruthless crime, more fearsome than anything we've encountered before.." They all just stare. "Many of my officers have quit out of fear that Savia might not save them."

"Dad, you should quit too! I don't want you to die.." Sayu pleads, holding onto her father's hand on the dining table. "She's right! You should place your life before your job." Mrs. Yagami tries to convince him.

"No. I will not remove myself from this case. I will not yield to evil."

Mrs. Yagami looks at him. "We will support you. Kira must be punished for his murders, but..." She shifts sides from fearing Kira to supporting her husband.

"Dad.." Sayu mutters, concerned. "Dear.." Almost in turn, Mrs. Yagami mutters. For a moment, silence fills the room, then Light begins to speak.

"Father, that's admirable. I'm proud of you," He gets up from his chair, heading upstairs into his room, "if anything ever happens to you, I'll see to it that Kira gets executed."

PRESENT.

Although it was shockingly going according to plan, having ensured the life of Raye Penbar, it was strange. After talking to L during a cafe meet, (of course, out of sight of any investigators along the team), he had revealed that they'd found some weird envelope that Raye was carrying around when watching the tapes, but they didn't see the same where Raye was destined to die.

It had the names of all 12 FBI agents; except for Raye's, you recall. "Twelve FBI agents came to Japan for Kira. What do you think happened to them? Nothing." You knew he was hiding something.

Nothing happened to any of them, huh..? That's strange. Nothing at all? But if that's the case, then what suspicions would L have on Light? If no investigators found anything suspicious, what possibly could make L accuse Light of being Kira? Unless.. 

Kill and revive all FBI agents.

And that you did. "Ryuga, Raye leaving that file behind is odd. What possibly could have even been in it?" You asked, almost as if you were guiding him towards the answer. "It had to have been the names of all FBI agents, that's the only possible answer. If that's true, then Kira got his hands on it." 

"Right, it had to have been," you approved, "and why would he need the names?" 

"Miss (Y/N), I was not telling the truth when I said nothing happened to them. They each had done something suspicious before dying. But instead of fully dying, it seems they.. got revived. However,"
