"I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling the puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart."___
Noa
All I heard from the corner on my night stand was my alarm.
5:45 am.
Great, first day of school for me and Clem. I woke up, seeing Harry comb his wet hair back as he started shaving over the sink.
I walk over to him, as she starts rinsing off the shaving cream from his face. I miss the back of his shoulder as my arms hug around his torso.
"Good morning to my official scientist. Your first day is today?" I nod, signing a bit.
"Im nervous, more for Clementine than for me. I don't want her struggling. I'll see her though during third period before lunch so it will be okay. Hopefully shell have lunch in my room, so I have somebody to talk to." We both laugh. I think realizing that I'm hoping a almost 5 year old comes into my room for lunch to keep me company really does give of, "I'm a new teacher and have no idea what's going on.
"You will do great, I know you. And you probably won't be doing much either, it's their first day." I nod, releasing my grip from him. I start to undress myself. turning on the shower to a warm temperature.
Getting undressed in front of each other has become second knowledge. We've seen each other naked so many times we don't even think about it.
Before I step in, I feel a grip on my waist. I look back to him dipping his head down into my neck.He kissed my collarbone, all the way down to my breasts.
"I have to go make Clem actual lunch now. Not cheese and Grapes." He laughs under his breath pacing a soft kiss to my lips before detaching his grip.
"I'll come back up before I leave." He says and I nod, getting in the shower. I stared at him for a good few seconds walking down the stairs with his slacks on and no shirt. All I could look at were his shoulder blades flexing.
I got too lucky with him.
I started by rinsing my hair of any product, lathering my hair with shampoo and by body with lavender scented body wash. As I rinsed everything, I took my razor, shaving under my arms and legs and conditioned my hair. I never took long in the shower unless I was pondering too much. I was too nervous to think about anything at this point.
Once I got out I wrapped myself in my robe, and put my hair up in a towel. I walked into the kitchen to see Harry prepping her lunch. He was such a girl dad at heart and it makes me so soft inside to see him being a father.
"Coffee?" I asked, the aroma of it filling my nostrils.
"It's already made, feel free to pour some. What do you think I should make her? I don't want her all day without eating something substantial." He conveys to me, his mouth pouting.
"Well does she like bread?" He shakes his head.
"What about pasta, you have a small pink thermos, right?" I ask him, and his eyes light up. I was always given pasta with butter as a kid for lunch. I always secretly bought some carrots during the school lunch line anyway. My parents never gave me junk so I was always that lanky school girl. I didn't do sports, just science.
