"And isn't it just so pretty to think
All along there was some
Invisible string
Tying you to me?"
___
Harry

The night before, I rolled over in bed, my heart beating faster than ever. I looked over at Noa, her sleeping body so peaceful. She took small breathes, her chest coming up and down slowly.

I stared at her, admiring my soon-to-be fiancee. Everything didn't feel real. I got out the bed, walking downstairs to grab a glass of water. I felt like I was sweating, I wanted everything to be perfect.

This wasn't what I'd expected when I got involved with Noa. I don't regret it though.

I walk back up, taking off my white t-shirt and leaving my pants on. I slip back onto the mattress, breathing in and out wrapping my arms around her. She stirs, turning around to face me. Her eyes partially open and form half a smile.

"Why are you up?" She says, her voice scratched and sleepy.

"Can't sleep, too excited for tomorrow." I answer, taking the hair out from her face.

Her eyes close again, struggling to stay open. I tuck her face in my shoulder, kissing her head.

"I love you." I whisper.

I fall asleep to the rhythm of her breathing.

___

Well fuck.

I was now getting ready at the apartment on Cornelia Street while I let Noa get ready with Beatrice at the house.

I was dying to see what she had been wearing. I know clothes were never a big thing for her but anything she wears she glows in. I was now shaving, being careful not to cut myself. Everything was lined up. I had the photographers waiting at the venue while we got ready. We would both be there by 1pm. At least that's what I told Theo.

I still was thinking about Clem and how she felt about moving to second grade. I was scared for her. She seemed alright with it but I didn't think she realized what this really meant.

Flashback

"Hey baby, why don't you come downstairs to talk for a second, me and Noa wanted to talk to you about something." I asked her softly.

Her eyes looked big and weary.

"Am I in trouble? I don't think I did anything. I'm sorry daddy!" She starts screaming. I went to go hug her, calming her down.

"Of course not m'love, c'mere. Don't cry nothing is wrong." I rub her head as she leans into me.

I pick her up, attaching at the hip and bring her downstairs where Noa looks at me with sad eyes.i

"Hey munchkin!" She says. Clem pops her head out of my chest to see her big glowing smile.

I laugh to see Clem wanting out of my grip to go to her.

Noa picks her up and places her in the kitchen island.

"Okay honey, so we had a meeting at the school. They think you are super super smart." I tell her. Her eyes look at me wide.
