Madeline stared towards the man.

Had he really been watching her? Or maybe was he watching everyone? Seeing if they were making a plan to find Lori, because he cared. Because he was the good guy she thought he was. It made all the sense in the world for him to care about his group, it didn't her. For he didn't know her, like he knew them. They all had a bond.

That had to be more likely than, him watching her...

"He's probably isn't watch me Carol." But she was for sure now watching him. As if Carol had lit a fire in her mind, that maybe Daryl cared about her. The possibility that he did, made her heart jump.

All her mind knew, was that she had her family. Her family cared about her, and she cared about them. No one else seemed too, but the idea that someone might. A bout put a smile on her face, even in this hard time. Even when she truly didn't believe he did.

But, the idea that it was him.

It was Daryl Dixon.

Made her weak at the knees.

Her stomach turn.

Her heart beat faster and faster.

Her body break into sweats.

Carol spoke up, "He is watching you. You doesn't care about nothing else." Her words were bitter. As she watched the man, stare down upon the two. Daryl had spoken the words that made it all so clear. Even when he denied anything about Madeline. It was clear.

Madeline still didn't turn towards the woman, her bitter tone pushed Madeline away from doing so. As if she had been upset that Daryl seemed to care, which only confused her more.

Because Daryl had always cared about people. He got shot looking for her daughter, fell down a cliff to find her. Madeline also knew in her heart that if Carl was in danger, Daryl would be there. "He does care." Madeline just simply said, still admiring the man.

Carol shook her head, finally looking away. She wanted to look at the stupid girl. Believing in such crazy ideas of the man. She knew Daryl a lot longer than she has. Carol didn't like her acting as if she knew better. "You don't know him."

As if the words were thrown at Madeline, it pulled her away from Daryl. Snapping her head towards the woman, the woman who had very little faith in the man. The man that Madeline had started to have a lot for.

Madeline shook her head, "I dont as much as you. But I know he has to be a good guy." She then threw her hands up, in a dramatic way. "He cared about your daughter." She didn't speak meanly, more in a 'see' way.

Carol didn't want to argue with the girl. The girl basically didn't have an argument, because Daryl didn't let her hear what he truly says. He doesn't let her hear his words about everyone here. "You should go inside, wait for the other to get back."

After her words, Madeline moved her head back to Daryl. Expecting him to be still standing there, watching over the two. But as if he was magic. The silhouette had disappeared.

"Okay." She whispered, with the longing in her heart still standing.

Madeline sat beside Beth's bed side, the girl still unable to move. She hadn't even shifted a little, to maybe get more comfortable. Or maybe lift her hand to take the hair out of her hair. Madeline it had became Madeline's job, one she didn't like.

Madeline let a loud sigh as she pulled the girls covers up, as her mind wandered. She thought about everything, she always was. She was always waiting patiently for just a second to finally sit on the thoughts.
