Madeline didn't want to think, right as she has too much she doesn't want to think about. The world gives her all the time possible, all the time to sit and listen to her brain which was screaming at her.

It was like everyday the world gave her a new reason to believe what everyone else already did. To believe this world was broken, this world was shattered. She started to feel like the world was almost like her.

It wasn't just what had happened at the barn now. It wasn't just that little girl or her dad drinking. It all added on to it, something else. That something else being everything she didn't want to believe.

'When the world changes you have too as well to live.'

As if it was engraved into her mind, burned into her brain.

She knew Shane said it, so she knew she probably shouldn't listen. But it started to make sense, Otis was still kind, still forgiving, he was everything the world seemed to protest. He didn't change, now he is dead.

Beth didn't change and now she is laying in bed with cuts on her arms.

Madeline was shocked it hadn't gotten to her yet. She was shocked the world hadn't done something terrible to her yet. To beat her down and show her you have to change.

"So, what you gonna do?" Her brain shifted off almost as Lori spoke louder then everyone. She hadn't even noticed that she now stood in a group, she hadn't noticed when she even walked away from the barn.

She didn't notice when Rick took his hand off his resting gun before Shane.

She looked towards everyone, the brain left her with no energy to say what she thought they should do. Finally, she decided to keep her words to herself. "We'd all feel better if we knew the plan." Andreas voice almost made Madeline gag.

Rick including Shane both shook their heads, having no idea of what to do. While Lori and Carl sipped from some cups, everyone else just standing before them. "Is there a plan? We gonna keep him here?" Glenn questioned as he shifted a bit towards Madeline.

Madeline liked Glenn being near him happened to be good for her. She wanted to take that as a sign from the world, because to be honest she was looking for anything to be a sign.

Till one walked right towards them. "We'll know soon enough."

She could almost physically feel her heart drop, going all the way to the ground. As if happened to be possible, it probably would have.

She couldn't believe what she was seeing, she wanted to look away. But it was like a car crash, you couldn't stop watching. The car crash for Madeline being Daryl Dixon walking towards the group, his hands covered in the blood of the kid he had left moaning in agony.

Daryl walked with his crossbow held tightly in his hand, his knuckles in pain but not nearly enough to stop him from doing anything with them. "Boy there's got a gang, 30 men." He looked directly towards Rick, not even noticing Madeline. But for her it was all she could see.

She bit her lower lip, as didnt understand why it made her feel like this. She couldn't even tell you how she felt but it was one of the worse feelings in this world. "They have heavy weapons and they ain't looking to make friends."

Daryl let out of his crossbow letting in test upon his shoulder as everyone took in what he said. "They roll through here, our boys are dead." He then shifted his eyes as he spoke, "and our woman they're gonna-"

His eyes fallen fell on the one person that gave him the burning sensation from her eyes more then everyone else. The girl that he happened to always be watching, was finally watching him back.
