𝐋𝐎𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐒, 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐀The morning of the game brought a swirl of emotions for Amahira. She packed her gym bag meticulously, knowing today marked her first game since transferring to USC. Despite her excitement, a tinge of sadness lingered—her parents and sister A'ja Wilson had regretfully informed her they couldn't make it. She understood their commitments, but it still left a small void on this important day.
As she finished packing, her roommates Sylas and Kassiani were bustling around, getting ready for the game also
Sylas smiled, while putting on her rings. "Mari, you ready for the game today?"
Amahira managed a small smile. "Yeah, but i'm a bit nervous and bummed my family couldn't make it."
Kassiani stepped forward, wrapping an arm around Amahira. "They'll be cheering you on in spirit, trust me. Today is your day to shine."
Amahira nodded appreciatively, feeling a bit lighter with their support. "Thanks, guys."
With renewed determination, she headed to the Galen Center. The atmosphere outside buzzed with anticipation, fans streaming towards the arena in waves of cardinal and gold. Inside, her teammates were already focused, preparing mentally and physically for the challenge ahead.
