Chapter 6

We arrive to the Ubuyashiki estate and we not see all the Hashira there talking to each other except for one. I think his name was Giyu Tomioka if I'm correct. Shinobu told me about him and how he had no friends and was lonely.

"Kazuma-chan! You made it!" Mitsuri said. She then looked at my neck and got frightened, "Ah! What happened!" She ran to me and shake my body which made me dissy.

"She only got a deep cut in her neck when fighting lower moon 4 don't worry it only gave her a scar. She could've died if it was deeper." We turned to the voice who said it which was Shinobu, "And Kazuma you shouldn't have left the estate till you were fully healed, what happened?"

"Uhm..." I stood still and looked down at my hands and started fidgeting with them, "Kazuma we talked about this. You have to warm up to more people taking care of you. Sigh."

"You don't like getting taken care of by others why is that?" Muichiro asked. I looked up at him, "Nothing."

"My child I heard you killed a lower moon yourself." I looked at Gyomei then started to rub my neck, "Yeah it wasn't that hard though because she was a new lower moon, the same goes the other lower moon that Muichiro killed but it seemed easier for him because he didn't get hurt by a bit."

He must be stronger than me, in our first mission he didn't even get injured as well. But the demon I fought was under water and poisoned.

I then got patted on the back so hard that I was about to fall over, "You two kids did an awesome job with defeating two lower moons!" Kyojuro was behind the both of us and patted both our backs. I thought he would break my back, "Yeah that was very Flamboyant of you two!" Uzui Tengen the man who had three wives and a very overstimulating personality I guess.

"After three weeks of being demon slayers these two kids become hashira in a short amount of time pretty surprising in my opinion." A voice said up on a tree. It was Iguro Obanai with his pet snake Kaburamaru, "What's that?" Muichiro asked, "It's a snake a type of reptile Tokito-san " I answered, "What's a reptile?"

"Master Ubuyashiki has arrived." Everyone including me bowed down when Master had arrived.

I remember when I was taken by the demon slayer corps that Ubuyashiki would always come visit the room I was staying at to make sure I was okay. I saw him as a father type of guy.

"What a beautiful day it is my children. Today I come to bear good news that two Kizuki have been slain by two young demon slayers. Tokito Muichiro and Nakamura Kazuma." Master Ubuyashiki said, "These two slayers are now a new addition to our family of Hashira. The Snow and Mist Hashira. May you all accept these new Hashira and give them a warm welcome. I shall now take my leave I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your day."

Master Ubuyashiki left and all the Hashira stopped bowing, "Bullshit." All of us turned to the voice that said that, "Two kids that killed a twelve kizuki? It was even a fully developed kizuki." Of course it was Sanemi who said that, "Shinazugawa-san listen to what the master said we have to accept them. You're the only who's not okay with it?" Shinobu said, "They might have killed a kizuki but they still may be weak. Look at that one dozing off." We all turned to where Sanemi pointed which was Muichiro looking at the sky.

"Shinazugawa-san I wouldn't underestimate people just because of that reason of yours even if they are young and either way Tokito-san always does that." Shinobu said again, "Tsk whatever." Sanemi said back, he then disappeared to somewhere else.

"Well... Kazuma-chan! Tokito-san! Let's celebrate!" Mitsuri cheered, "Are you sure Kanroji-san?" I asked her, "Just call me Mitsuri we're equal now! And definitely it's necessary to celebrate! Let's go!" Mitsuri dragged me and Muichiro to her Estate and sat us in the dining room. The other Hashira were also there even Giyu who was dragged by Shinobu but Sanemi wasn't there.

I sat next to Muichiro and Shinobu. Mitsuri was bringing large amounts of food will probably not be finished by all the nine of us unless Mitsuri eat a lot, "I precooked these before the Hashira meeting so we could celebrate right after!" She planned this entire thing out?

"Kazuma-san Kazuma-san," I felt someone poke my shoulder, I turned my head to see who it was and it was none other than Shinobu herself, "After this come to my estate so I can recover your neck again it's about to get loose. And promise me you will stay in the estate a little longer? You need more recovering from the fight okay?" Shinobu pulled up her pinky finger, "A pinky promise?" I asked, "Yes and if you break it I'll be really mad."

For some reason it felt familiar with the pinky promise. I used to make them all the time with my brother but now it felt like something different I guess. I raised up my pinky and intertwined it with hers, "Great now you can't break it." She said smiling.

"What's that?" Muichiro said behind me, "A pinky promise. It's a promise that you can't ever break." Muichiro looked at me questionably and tilted his head, "Can I make one?" He asked, "Yeah what promise do you want to make? It could be anything." I told him, "I don't know." He said, "Well when you want to make a promise with someone that you think will be important, then make it."

I turned back forward and started to eat my food. Muichiro took out something and started to make something, "What are you doing?" I asked, "Origami, I do it in my free time. This is a cat." He finished making the thing and held it up to me showing me the paper shaped like a cat.

Taisho Era Secrets!:

-Muichiro still doesn't know what a reptile is. 🥲

-Mitsuri was so happy Kazuma became a hashira that she burnt some of the food she was making for the celebration and almost burnt her house down.

-Kazuma doesn't know what Origami is.

-Kazumas neck scar looks exactly like Gyomei's forehead scar. Like teacher like student.
