Chapter 16

When I'm in the mansion, I woke through the halls till I see Shinobu's office. It seemed to be closed so I knocked on the door.

"Come in!"

Shinobu's voice came from inside the room seeming pretty calm from the sound of her voice.

I opened the door and she turned her head to me, "Kazuma-chan! This is unexpected from someone like you!" She said with a closed eye smile.

"I'm just here to ask a question I have on my mind. It will be quick." I entered and sat in the chair in front of her.

She nodded her head which meant for me to proceed with my question, "My final for is pretty dangerous for myself and could cause permanent damage to my body. If I ever use it when I fight a demon I can have a chance to having my hands fall off or I won't be able to use them anymore. Is there any way to prevent this outcome?" I asked Shinobu.

"So you made this form yourself right?" She asked me. I nodded. Her face seemed surprised.

"What does this form do exactly?"

"When I activate the form I get to use an area of choice as an illusion for my opponent. For example, if I'm fighting you and I use the form, I could choose any place to create the illusion. It can also be memories from the opponent some sad some happy. But what it can do to me is I can permanently freeze my hands from the temperature of my blade which goes beyond negative. I would only use this form when I'm near death situation or any other major situation, like fighting an Upper moon of some type." She nods and thinks for a while before talking again.

"I can make a medicine for you that can lesson the damage of your form in some way but it might take a while for me to make. I would also recommend when you do use it to have your total concentration breathing ten times faster than normal." I nod and get up.

I wipe off the dust from my clothing and walk to the door.

"Thanks see you soon." I tell her.

"Already? We haven't hanged out together in a while we should catch up! How is Muichiro doing?" She tells me.

"Don't have time right now and he's doing well..." I am more quiet on the last part and I start to blush a little bit.

"Anyways bye."

I leave and close the door behind me.

Shinobu POV:

Was she just blushing? Kids her age always seem to fall in love.

Kazuma POV:

I start to walk back to my estate but then I see Gyomei crouched down seeming to look at something.

"Himejima-sama?" I say. He turns his head and looks at me.

"Hello my child you seem as well as ever."

"What are you looking at?" I asked him.

"There's a kitten here take a look my child." He tells me.

I walk in front of him and crouch down looking at the kitten, "He seems to be injured a little. By the look of his arm. It has dry blood but it's still infectious." I pick up the kitten slowly and it looks at me.

"Meow."

"It seems I need to take care of him so he can go back to normal shape again."  Gyomei started to look at me and smiled.

"It seems you've started to change Nakamura. That's good. I remember when you were only ten and I started to train you. You've developed really well these past four years." He said to me.
