I don’t remember what happened after that. But I awoke in a strange cave, bandaged up, and covered in bruises. This man, who wore a mask and looked like a sheikah warrior, with blonde hair and green eyes. Kinda like Zelda. “Oh. hero of time. You're awake. I'm glad to see you’re alive. My name is sheik. What's yours?” I was shocked. The voice sounds like… zelda… but she is trapped. “I'm Link. Do you know where Zelda is?” I asked. “Oh… I saved her from the cave. I told her that you were in trouble dealing with a monster and she was fine with that…” he said. “Oh, is she safe?” I asked again. “Yes she is safe, no need to worry yourself. You’re still recovering. I’m staying here with you until you feel better.”
Sheik’s perspective
I harnessed my powers to make me turn into a sheikah warrior. And changed my identity from princess zelda of hyrule to sheik, the last of the sheikah warriors. I untied myself from the handcuffs using a dagger I had. I then rushed over to Link to save him. He does not know that I’m princess zelda. I had to lie to him in order to keep my identity a secret. I found it cute how he was so concerned about me. I love him like I did 7 years ago. He is the cutest, sweetest boy I have ever met. So loyal, courageous.
I sat and watched him recover and helped him out. One night, when he was sleeping, I saw the triforce of courage on his right hand. And I had the triforce of wisdom on mine. I needed to hide the fact that I had the triforce of wisdom somehow, or else Link will find out who I really am. I’m not ready to tell him yet. When Link saw the triforce of courage, I knew from the look on his face that it was just another burden to carry for him.
A week later, we were finally back on the field. I retrieved Link’s horse, Epona, for him. “Thank you, sheik” he said. “I should train you so you can defeat more monsters, including Gannon himself. The monsters are just his minions.” I said. He agreed and I found the perfect training ground. A nice open field.
