Zelda’s perspective

An earthquake erupted. But it wasn’t just any earthquake. It was gannon’s re-awakening. “He is awake, gannon!” I exclaimed. Link grabbed my hand and ran as fast as he could to Hyrule castle. When we got there, there were bokoblins swarming everywhere, but Link protected me. Over the seven years, my father has died. I got sad seeing his throne, where he used to sit for royal meetings. It was destroyed. Everything was torn to pieces. We saw gannon. He had the most power we ever saw him with. A special stone that turned him into the demon king. He had unleashed monsters all over Hyrule. Link fought the army of monsters and told me not to go near.

But I did not listen. When he was finished with the army, he went to the demon king. He was almost dead. But Link was almost dead too! I needed to do something! I turned into sheik and took a large dagger and stabbed him in the head.

The demon king was dead. He fell to the ground and off a cliff. Link and I were transported to a sacred realm. “Link… I'm sorry about everything you had to put up with. You need to go home, and relive your childhood, just like you were born to do!” I said. “Zelda no!” Link said, crying. ‘I don’t want to leave you!” he said, sobbing and completely broken. He reluctantly gave me the ocarina and let me transport him back. Back to where he was happy! “I love you, Link!” I shouted as he disappeared. 

Link’s perspective

I’m back in the temple of time. I am back to my 10 year old body. I went back to Hyrule castle on Epona. No one seems to remember what happened. When I got to Zelda, she remembered everything. “Link! I’m… so sorry for everything you had to go through. I know you are in a rush to set off on your own journey… but you should keep the ocarina of time! I know you should keep it safe and away from evil. It’s in capable hands with you.” she gave me the ocarina of time, and I wanted to cry. She ran over for a kiss on my cheek and I gave one right back on her cheek. Impa gave me some new armor and some food and set me off. “Goodbye Link.”

Link’s perspective

I will see you later zelda. I know it.

Together we always swore, as children, we would always be there for each other. I will see you soon. I promise.
