They had lost. Hogwarts had fallen and Voldemort was somehow still alive. Aurora knew he could have only survived by making another horcrux. She cursed Dumbledore. The man had kept too many secrets and now they were fucked. Rony and Hermione were dead. Luna, Neville, Remus, McGonagall, Kingsley, the Weasleys, and so many more were gone. She had no choice, she had to run. Aurora had to find a way to stop it all, find a way to somehow fix it.
Aurora had run to Hogwarts boundaries and apparated, going to the only place she could think of. Her parents' headstone glistened in the sunlight. She wasn't sure how the sun could be so bright, so beautiful when her world was ending. Aurora fell to her knees, placing her forehead against the stone.
"I'm so sorry. I really did try but I wasn't strong enough" She whispered, tears running down her face. She didn't want to think of her friends, of Remus, the last connection she had to her parents and Sirius. "What am I going to do" she asked the air. Noticing she still had hold of Hermione's bag, she opened it, trying to find something that could help heal her.
She rummaged through the giant bag, hoping to find some dittany. When her hand hit a gold chain, she looked quickly to where it was. Eyes widening, Aurora quickly made sure no one was around. When had Hermione taken this? Where had she gotten it? Looking it over, she noticed it wasn't the same as the one from their third year. This time turner had black sand, the dial was different as well.
Glancing from the time turner to her parents headstones, she thought it over. What repercussions could it have? Her whole world was on fire, nothing could damage it worse now. Aurora slid the chain around her neck, rubbing her thumb over the script on the band.
"Verte annulos ad chtim tempus. Nulla revertitur ex qua relenquit. Tempus construendi est et mutari potest." Aurora read the script. Hopefully this would work, she needed to be able to fix things.
Glancing to her parents headstones, Aurora looked back to the time turner. Standing, she looked to her parents, "I'm going to fix this. I promise, I will make sure none of this ever happens. I love you both so much"
Making sure Hermione's bag was secure, Aurora held her wand in one hand and the time turner in the other. Using her wand hand, she twisted the dial and watched the sand glow. Just when she thought it wouldn't work, she felt a hook behind her navel that felt like she was being pulled backwards.

Aurora fell flat on her bum when her world stopped spinning. She waited for her vision to focus and looked around at her surroundings. She was still in the cemetery, but it seemed to be nighttime now.
When she looked down, she let out a breath, her parents' headstone was gone. It worked! She tried to stay calm, but she couldn't help to do a little happy dance.
Looking around, she couldn't see anyone outside. She needed to find a newspaper and somewhere to stay. Making her way out of the cemetery, she quickly apparated to Diagon Alley.

There were only a couple of stragglers in the alley, it must be really late. Aurora noticed all of the buildings and shoppes in the alley. None of them were damaged and some were ones she had never heard of before. How far back had she gone? Deciding it best to get out of the alley, she headed in the direction of The Leaky Cauldron.
Seeing a much younger Tom, Aurora froze. It had really worked! She knew from the buildings but this was a proof she could definitely see. When Tom noticed her enter, he gave her a warm and welcoming smile.
"Evenin my dear, can I help you?"
Aurora tried to manage a small smile, "I was wondering if you had a room I could rent?"
