Epilogue

September 1, 1972

Standing on the platform, Aurora was holding back her tears. Sirius had started Hogwarts last year, but she still had Regulus. This year, both her boys were going to be gone. Marvolo had to hide his smile from his wife. He knew she wasn't going to handle this well. Walking over to her, he took her in his arms. He could swear she had just wiped her nose on him.

"Wife, you will see them at Christmas." Marvolo told her, which only made her worse. 

Dorea walked over to the couple, taking Aurora from his arms. The two woman cried together.

Marvolo walked over to Charlus, "You should know not to mess with a mother and her babies on a day like today" the man laughed. 

Rolling his eyes, Marvolo replied, "She's extra emotional this year" Charlus slapped his back, laughing at him. 

Regulus came running over, "Dad, please make mom stop. She's going to embarrass me" he whined. Sirius just acted like he didn't know any of them.

Marvolo patted his sons' shoulder, "Sorry, you're her baby so she's going to cry" he laughed at his son's expression. 

Remus and James came running over, Aurora quickly grabbed them both in a hug. Their faces showed the defeat they felt. Sirius knew he had to say goodbye, he tried to sneak in so he could get away quickly, but she didn't let him. Somehow the woman managed to get all four boys in her arms. Marvolo could only shake his head at them. 

Moving to his wife, he pulled the boys from her arms. "You're going to have to let them go. They have to get on the train." Aurora finally allowed the boys to move. They shot him a grateful look.

Once the whistle sounded, they all gave Aurora one last hug and ran for the train. Marvolo took his weeping wife in his arms, and they watched as the train pulled out of the station.

The house seemed so quiet. Aurora didn't realize how much different it would be with the boys gone but now she just wanted to cry again. Marvolo could only watch his wife. She seemed to be extra weepy for some reason. 

"Wife, are you going to be okay" he asked cautiously. He wasn't sure how her emotions would handle his question.  

Aurora wiped her eyes again. "I'll have to be, they left me" she sobbed into his shirt. 

Pulling back, he looked at Aurora, trying to see what was going on. He had only seen a woman like this when his friends wives, shit. 

"Wife, have you been feeling off lately. I know you're emotional but I meant anything else" he winced when she glared at him. Okay, so that wasn't the most sensitive way to ask. 

Sniffing, Aurora thought about his question. She had been feeling off for a couple weeks but she had just thought it was because she knew her boys were going to leave. Looking at her husband, she sniffed. "I've been a wreck lately, haven't I"

YES! He wanted to say but knew better, "I may know what could cause it but I need to do a spell" he explained.

Aurora nodded, "Okay" she said quietly, watching as he moved his wand over her. 

A blue light shown above her, his eyes widened. Looking to Aurora he realized she didn't know what the spell did. Smiling, he kissed his wife. "You're pregnant" he whispered in awe.

"Pregnant" Aurora gasped. That would actually explain a lot. She had never been this emotional before. Smacking Marvolos arm, she scowled. "You're the reason I'm all weepy"

Marvolo laughed, leaning in he captured her lips. "I'll take the blame wife" 

She smiled at him and kissed him back. "I love you" 

"I love you" he replied. 

*****I'm leaving this here because I was thinking of a sequel. I'm not promising but a few things have made me want to add to it later. If I do make another book for this, it will mainly be a fluffy piece.
