Sirius birthday had passed and it was one he would never forget. Aurora had personally made his cake while Tilly made his favorite foods for dinner. Remus and James had spent the night and they camped under the stars with Aurora. She had enchanted a tent to have an open roof and she slept outside with them. Marvolo unfortunately couldn't stay, he had a meeting to go to but he still spent the day with them. Siri had never felt as loved as he did by Aurora.
Aurora and Marvolo had decided to do a wedding on the winter solstice. The guest list was very short, they wanted to keep it small and private. Dorea offered to go shopping with Aurora for her ritual robes. Since they were doing a ceremony in a way to honor Lady Magic, the decorations were very simple.
The boys were excited for the wedding, they got to go with Marvolo to be fitted for their robes. After spending time with him, both boys knew he would be a good husband for their angel. Marvolo had enjoyed his day with the boys, lunch and robe shopping and of course questions but it was fun.
Aurora had loved spending time with Dorea. She knew the woman was no longer her grandmother, but it was still heartwarming. The Potters were closer to Marvolo's age but being a magical person, they didn't look any older than she did. She knew the Potters were close to Dumbledore but it seems they were pulling away from him.
Charlus had discussed her potion with her, he told her to patent it so no one could steal it or taint the brewing. Marvolo had been shocked when Charlus agreed to back his bills. The Potters like where they wanted to take the wizarding world and offered help dealing with the light faction.

Aurora had stopped by the Leaky once she was finished robe shopping. "Tom" she greeted the man with a hug, "Do you have a moment to talk?"
"For you, of course!" Tom grinned and followed her to their table. "How are those boys"
Aurora smiled, "Rotten but I wouldn't have them any other way"
Tom smiled, he knew Aurora had a big heart. "What's going on dear?" he asked.
Aurora gave him a smile, "We set a date, we are getting married on the winter solstice." Tom smiled wide, "I was wondering if you would walk me to the ritual circle?" she asked quietly.
Tom couldn't believe she was asking him. Nodding with a huge smile and watery eyes, "I would be honored Aurora, are you sure you don't want"
She shook her head, "I only want you to. You have been family to me, even before I became a Lady" He didn't know she meant now and in the future.
Tom pulled her into a hug, trying not to cry on her. The two spoke for a bit longer. Aurora told him she had already paid for his robes, he just needed to go get them fitted.

Arriving home, Aurora noticed the boys hadn't made it back yet. She took her robes upstairs and put them away. Hearing a noise, she headed down to see if it was Marvolo. When she got to the stairs, she heard voices. Someone was in her home, hopefully Tilly was hidden and Pell didn't come inside.
Hearing footsteps, she quickly hid against the wall. They were coming up the stairs. Whoever was here was going to regret it. Listening, she heard two men speaking.
"What were the orders" one man asked.
"All the broad said was she wanted the woman dead, she didn't care how we did it or what else we did" the second man replied.
Aurora knew, there was only one woman they could be speaking of. Oh Wally, you fucked up.
The men reached the top of the stairs and turned, coming face to face with Aurora. Both men were surprised but immediately moved to grab her.
