Rewind Time

Chapter 10

*****We are doing a filler and time jump. 

Marvolo watched as Thoros entered his office. Skeeters article had caused an uproar within the followers of Dumbledore, many darker families reached out to him in support. They were planning for the release of the first tidbit of Dumbledore's secrets and knew it would be a good time to push their legislation through.

"Marvolo, how's Aurora? I seen the article. He actually grabbed her?" Thoros asked, sitting across him.

Smirking, "She hates that she was portrayed as my 'little witch' but knows that it will resonate better to the public."

Thoros laughed, "I'm actually surprised she didn't remove his hand. Thank Merlin the boys weren't with her."

"There were too many witnesses" He joked, kind of. 

"My source said that they will begin printing the secrets tomorrow. He agreed to report it as he received it, he's one of many ready to see Dumbledore go down" Thoros told him. 

Marvolo nodded, "Abraxes has the Ministers ear, so that's taken care of" he paused, face going serious, "I need the whereabouts of Fenrir Greyback"

Thoros was nervous, "What for" he knew it was a risk but he had to ask.

"He's been biting children." Thoros eyes widened, Marvolo nodded. "Aurora has developed a potion to reverse the lycanthrope gene in those who haven't reached majority. It works."

The man was stunned, "She cured lycanthropy?"

Marvolo shook his head, "Only for children but there was a boy, he was bitten when he was four, she cured him last week."

"That's amazing! How did she find the boy? Most who have been bitten keep it secret due to the prejudice."

"Remus Lupin. He was an uncle to her and now she's his angel. She's literally worshipped by three little boys" Marvolo smiled at the memory, that boy had hugged Aurora to death that morning. 

"I see." Thoros nodded, "Are you going to kill Greyback?"

Marvolo nodded, "I'm going to make sure he can never harm another child. If he has any unwilling children in his pack, Aurora's going to offer them the cure."

"I'll find him, someone's bound to know where he stays." Thoros told him, "How are the boys doing." The smile on his friends face told him everything.

"They're trouble" He laughs, "Sirius is going to be a menace when he gets to Hogwarts"

Thoros like this side of his friend, he was happy Aurora had saved him from becoming the monster they were told of. "Has Aurora thought of meeting with the Potters?"

Marvolo shook his head, "She's hesitant. I may have to push her to do it, I just need to find a way for her to agree. I guess she can't stay mad at me forever if I did it behind her back"

"You love her" Thoros asked, he could see it on Marvolo's face but he wasn't sure if the man even knew.

Marvolo froze, he had never loved anyone or been loved. He looked to his friend, "Love?"

Dumbledore destroyed his office when that mornings Daily Prophet was delivered. How had this reporter found out the information that was printed? His whole relationship with Gellert was printed right there for everyone to read! He needed to find out who had found out his secrets.

Two faces crossed his mind. That witch who kept ignoring him and Tom. But how could they know? No one alive besides his brother and Newt knew of him and Gellert. Even his 'Greater Good' was destroyed.
