Two Months After Wedding
Death of a Noble by Rita Skeeter
Ladies and gentlemen, it seems that someone has killed a member of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Black. Lady Walburga Black was found in Knockturn Alley, she had been killed but aurors are unaware of just how. It seems that her hands had been crushed by an object and she had suffered damage to her person. Aurors don't have a suspect because they said their was no magical residue. Could Lady Black have been killed by someone not magical? I promise to keep my readers updated as soon as the aurors know more.

Marvolo grinned as he read the prophet. Oh how that woman deserved that but also so much more. Tilly seemed to be a nefarious little being. He laughed when it took this long for the elf to drop the woman. It seemed Tilly wanted to make sure no one would suspect her Mistress.
Speaking of Aurora, she only laughed when she seen the article. It seemed her grandmother had figured out what happened but even the light Lady Potter could only smile. Now Orion just needed to keep himself in line or Marvolo would be sure to take him out too. Sirius could be Lord Black at fourteen, so they really only needed Orion to stay alive for a bit longer.
Between the death of the banshee and the fall of Dumbledore. Things had been moving along great for their plans. The schools had been passed and now a sort of 'elementary' would go up for magical children before Hogwarts age. Marvolo still hadn't figured out how Dumbledore had held onto his headmaster position, he had lost everything else. Didn't matter, he would lose that soon enough.

March-ish Time
Aurora had been enjoying the beautiful day. Marvolo was at another Wizengamot meeting and the boys were flying in the back yard. She had been working in her garden since the first bits of spring had sprung. The animals of course were chasing the boys around, they kept running into each other when they looked up to find the boys. Deciding to have lunch outside, Aurora had just carried out a tray when she noticed an odd figure flying towards her home.
She could only stare when the bird landed. Her mouth may have been hanging open, she wasn't sure but the boys had noticed her pause and flew over.
"Rora, what's that" Reggie called out, hopping off his broom.
Siri paused when he got closer, "Is that a phoenix?"
Aurora could only nod. She knew it was Fawkes, but why was he here? Moving closer to the bird, she ran a hand down his feathers. "Fawkes, are you done with him" she asked quietly.
Fawkes chirped and made a sad noise. When he looked to Aurora, she froze. Nope, no way a phoenix would come to her. She wasn't a good person like that. Fawkes hopped closer and rubbed his head on her.
"Well shit" she breathed, petting the phoenix. "Guess we have another pet" she told the boys. How exactly would she explain this to her husband?

Marvolo exited the floo, he wanted to tell his wife that they had passed another bill. Looking through the house, he couldn't find her. Heading outside, he froze when he seen the phoenix sitting with Aurora while the boys chased the crup.
"Wife" Marvolo greeted, kissing his wifes head. "Care to tell me why Dumbledores bird is here" he stared curiously at the phoenix.
Aurora chuckled, "Umm, he's not Dumbledores anymore" she smiled at her husbands shocked expression. "He's now mine. I have no idea why but he just showed up and now he's staying"
Marvolo sat down, still looking at the phoenix. "What do you think it means" he asked.
"I think Dumbledore has been doing something bad. The only reason a phoenix would leave his bonded is because they no longer are on the right path" Aurora told him.
