"Isaac?" Someone patted my back, I turned around and found her brother.

"Can I join you please?" he asked.

"Sure." I said and he took a seat next to mine.

"Alyna needs some time alone," he said probably reading my mind.

"Is she okay?" I found myself asking.

"Oh she's fine."

I was worried, I feared she'd end up having an attack, because I didn't know what they were talking about. I was lost in my thoughts after I realized that all that I am was a mistake to her. I mean all this time, all the kisses and hugs and wiping each other tears and holding each other together were nothing but a mistake.

"She'll be fine, Isaac," he repeated. "Trust me" I glanced back at her. She had her head down in her hands. I knew she was crying, but for what, couldn't she forget him already? Why was she crying because she left her mother or because he left?

"Are you okay?" he asked

"Yes" I said clearing my throat.

"Would you mind if I tell you a story?" he asked "You probably know half of it, but the other half is worth listening to."

I looked at him. "Go on," I said and before he started, he ordered a glass of water and I asked for another cup of coffee.

"So, it started when Alyna was still in high school and she stupidly fell in love. He was an animal but he was also the most popular guy. So you know, how high schools are. We all knew it was just for the time being and the way it always happens Alyna will find out that he wass seeing six other girls at once and then she'll break up with him but that didn't happen. Though she knew he was seeing six girls at once, but Alyna believed that he only loved her. Bullshit.

Anyway, mom was okay with them seeing each other, but not that okay. If that's something... I mean we knew that guy. Mom just didn't want her to go through some kind of heartbreak, well she used to say; she'd handle it. But then my mom found out how far the relationship had gone. It was like mom had set some limits and Alyna had crossed them.

So it went from okay to not at all okay, but she didn't realize that. She went on making mistakes until my mom lost it all and started objecting. Then one day they were out going out at a party, you know how these parties are; drugs, drinks and what not. Yes, she just started taking drugs and she'd return home all drunk some nights. Mom raised us under completely different rules of ethics. We lost our father because of those drugs and drinks and my mother did not want that for us." He took a sip of water. I was receiving a whole new set of information. She had never mentioned she had used drugs. "Anyway that night my mom stood up, losing her temper, and pulled out a gun. It was loaded, but they didn't know, I did because Mom told me that if something bad ever happens, or if someone breaks in or something. Take out the gun, she'd say, but it's unloaded all the time; you don't have to fire or something, you just have to use it to scare them away and that's what happened. She was just scaring them away. Alyna, she didn't actually kill her, it was an accident but her trusting him was not an accident, it was something she did know, but she never got back. And when she did, it was too late, there was no way out. If I held charges against them they would have worked fine and both of them would be behind the bars right now, or making the lawyer fatter, but I didn't, I knew he'd never be what she expected him to be and I wanted her to figure it out on her own. He'd leave and she'd come back but she didn't. You brought her back to me. I know it was not her who wrote that note it was you. You got her back, it was something not anyone else could have done and I'm really glad you did it. Well, no the story does not end here; you see, she won't stop making mistakes and she's always a fool to realize them in the end, but you,my friend, I trust you, don't let her make any mistakes. Just don't let go of her. Me? I cannot take care of her only you can. I don't know, bringing her back must be tough, because she's the kind of girl wholl stick to her decisions. Just don't let anything happen to her, because it was hers to leave the house, she never came back its something about you that brought her back."
