"Basketball club members from Class C have filed a complaint with the school against Sudo," Chabashira explained to the class, as Y/N quietly hummed, realising this was the reason why Pluto had been shouting earlier when he entered the room. He thought it was just his usual shenanigans, but it turns out he'd gotten himself in trouble again. "They claim that after practice, Sudo attacked and injured them with no apparent provocation."

"It was self-defence! Self-defence!" Pluto repeated, slamming his fist on the desk, which wasn't helping his case. In fact, his entire personality and history didn't help his case. "They were jealous that I made the game roster, so they picked a fight!"

"So you decided to fight them. Real smart move, dumbass," Y/N rolled his eyes at his stupidity; how many more times would he make dumb decisions and force everyone to save him?

"There's no evidence of that," Chabashira promptly replied. "Though, if there was a witness, it might be a different story." Pluto clenched his teeth at this.

"Everyone!" Kushida desperately called out, standing to her feet. "Did anyone happen to see Sudo's fight? Does anyone know anything about it?" Y/N glanced around; at first it seemed like nobody had a clue about what was going on but he noticed something different with Sakura, the quiet pink-haired girl with gradient blue eyes and red glasses. She stayed quiet, though.

"Perhaps you'd have been better off getting expelled, Red Hair," Koenji commented with his usual smug expression, as he examined himself in the mirror, though his eyes were closed so that was a bit weird. "Your presence is hardly beautiful."

Not helping his case at all, Pluto rose to his feet with a frustrated growl, but Hirata quickly stood up and said, "Sudo! Don't!"

"In one week's time," said Chabashira, and everyone turned to her, "there will be a mediation with Class C, with the student council in attendance. Depending on how it turns out, there may be a forfeiture of points, as well as disciplinary measures for Sudo."

"Well then... I guess I'll step in this time," Y/N let out an irritated, but quiet, sigh.

...

There wasn't really anything he thought would be better than confronting her straightaway; they had only a week to gather evidence to defend Pluto and if he was somehow wrong about her then he'd be investing time into this for nothing. But he was certain that she had something to say about all of this, though he didn't really understand why she wasn't sharing it. He understood that she was an introvert and one of his people, but even he would share what he knew to get Pluto out of this mess. False accusations were the worst to deal with.

"Sakura," Y/N called her name slowly, when he spotted her in the hallway.

She slowly turned and met his gaze. "Y-Yes?"

"Do you... know?" he asked softly, hoping that his supposed reputation as 'the nice guy from Class D' would play out in his favour here. "About this mess. Do you know something?"

"S-Sorry, but I- I don't know anything!" she said hastily, stuttering her words, and she made to walk away, but Y/N cut her off.

"Why do I have to be the confident one in this situation?" Y/N mentally grumbled with annoyance, having to make sure his voice and body language exerted confidence opposed to his usual shy self. "Listen, if you know something then you need to tell me, otherwise he'll be punished for something he didn't do."

"I'm— I'm t-telling you! I know nothing!" she answered in a panic, and attempted to run, only for Y/N to cut her off again.

"Is this you?" he asked, showing her a photo on his phone, which was undoubtedly of her. It showed her without glasses, striking a pose, wearing some eccentric clothing.
