The luxury cruise ship, Speranza, equipped with first-class restaurants, a theatre for life performances, swimming pools, and various other amusement facilities, like a luxury spa. This was where they were to spend the rest of their summer vacation; a luxury cruise ship paid fully by the school.

If they wanted to rent something out, like a piece of clothing, then they could do so without having to worry about costs. Everything was free. Even the most expensive items from the menus of the restaurants were completely free. Even the luxury spa was free. Even the performances were free.

But Y/N's main issue with all of this was not the fact that literally everyone in their year was on this one ship, nor was it the fact that he'd have to see girls in swimsuits. His main issue was that it was paid by the school. And the last time the school gave them a 'good deal', it turned out to be worse than they expected.

"If a single individual were to pay for this, then it would likely cost them hundreds of thousands of yen," Y/N mentally noted as he watched the waves of the 'eternal summer ocean', as he had once overheard Ike call it. "There's a catch to this."

He placed his hands on the railings preventing him from just falling to his death, and gave an almost quiet hum. "Sakayanagi and Katsuragi from Class A, Ichinose from Class B, and Ryuen from Class C..." he thought, naming all the leaders of the other classes.

"I don't know much about Sakayanagi or Katsuragi, but I heard that Class A is split between two different 'factions', if you'd call it that. Sakayanagi's and Katsuragi's; both are fighting for total leadership. Their hands are pretty full, so I doubt they're going to be focusing on the Privileged right now."

"Ryuen, on the other hand... His eyes are definitely on Class D after we set them up. Specifically Horikita and me, though Horikita's more likely going to be the one he goes for. Based on what those Class C guys said to and saw of me, I know that they didn't take me seriously at all. They most likely regarded Horikita as the actual threat, and either mentioned both of us to Ryuen but clarified that Horikita was the only one to be worried about, or I was just never brought up in the first place."

"But Ichinose's well aware of my smarts," he thought, remembering how she brought it up one time in a conversation. "As of now, Class D and Class B are on friendly terms, so I heavily doubt she'd try something, but she'll probably be watching out for me. I suppose she'd be watching out for Horikita and Hirata too, since they're kind of our class representatives."

"But there's a threat much bigger than any of the class leaders, and maybe even bigger than me."

"It's—"

Y/N was snapped out of his deep reverie by the sound of his phone ringing; he shook his thoughts away and brought out his phone. Staring at the caller, Y/N let out a curious hum. It read, "Ichinose Honami".

"What does Ichinose want with me?" Y/N wondered out loud, before he pressed the button, answering the call. "Hello?"

"Hey!" rang out Ichinose's angelic voice.

"What's going on?" he asked curiously. "You don't usually call me, do you?"

"Well... that's a fair point, I guess," she chuckled. "Um... will you be free soon? Free to meet in person? It's something that I think is better to speak about face-to-face."

"Where do you want to meet?" he answered her question with his own question.

"Um... would your room be okay?" she asked nervously, for obvious reasons. "I'd suggest my room but I usually get visitors, and if we get interrupted then I don't want them to get the wrong idea..."
