Chapter 31: Bunny Hunt.

Erin gulped down the last of the horn and held up her hands as she stood next to another Barbarian who was still finishing their drink, there was a cheer from the watchers and Erin was patted hard on the back. The clan was gathered as they had finally hit mid-winter and were now on the downward trot to spring. This winter had been action packed and a lot of things had happened, more than any other winter before.

Winter was usually a time to do little but that had changed when Jayda made them tunnels, made them a large underground training ground. They could move safely around during storms, had room to move, train and train they did as they worked on the techniques Jayda taught them. This winter they had the bonus of Erin, Dawn and Rhia, their skills were tested by the trio to the point it had them all working harder. Frist, to learn Dawn's unique shield fighting skills although with a more conventional buckler shield which they were used to. Second, to figure out how to fight Dawn and Erin as a pair and then thirdly how to fight the Misfits as a whole, as their method of fighting was interesting to say the least as their best range fighter was a monster and they had the bonus of an assassin type in Ink.

Ingrid came up behind Erin and let out a yell to get everyone's attention. "Shut up a moment!" she yelled and finally got silence. Everyone in the clan turned to her and even those from their sister clan who had come to have some fun. Ingrid wrapped a clan charm around Erin's neck.

"Wait," Erin said and went to tear it off.

"Sadly," Ingrid said loudly as she stopped Erin from removing the necklace. "For now, we cannot bind Erin to the clan like we will her party mates in a moment."

"WHY NOT!" was yelled loudly from a dark corner and was echoed by a few others Ingrid held up her hand, asking for silence.

"Because she is the current Heir to a southern noble family." Ingrid explained and there were some drunken boos from the clan. "We must wait until her younger sister passes her family conditions to become the successor to take her place. Until then, consider this our promise, you will be bound entirely to us, even if we must wait, you are still clan, one of us."

There was a cheer, as Rhia and Dawn were pushed forward, as for Koa, Astra carried her to cancel out her luck. Dalla walked over to do the magical binding as Fal sat Erin down and took a moment to check her left ear.

"Just because you can't become a Barbarian doesn't mean you can't join us." Khala told her.

"Take a deep breath," Fal warned before she did the cuff piercing.

"FUCK!" Erin swore.

"Yes, yes, yes, everyone swears." Fal stated as she finished doing what she needed to and that meant her markers, she had already organised the markers for the three new members as well as their clan cuff, she would place the piercings today since she was here.

Khala gave her a small cup, "knock that back." She said as she touched the cuff and ran some magic through it to seal it as Fal placed two more piercings, one for being an adult the other her job.

Erin knocked back the shot, "Wow," she stated, "What was that?"

"Honey whiskey." Khala told her.

"Nice." Erin remarked as she felt a tingle race through her body as Fal bound her to the clan.

"Yeah, Cait explained how to make a still, which means we can make drinks similar to dungeon liquor, however, it is for clan members only. Don't want to be hounded more than we are." She explained and Erin nodded, honey ale was so extremely popular with everyone, but they restricted the sale of it to certain people because they couldn't up the production quickly, after all they needed enough for themselves, and they couldn't stress the bees.
