[Memories of my lady Aelin Lannister.]

On the day of Aeirwen Targaryen and Daemon Targaryen's wedding, everyone gathered at the Sept. Even the Smallfolk curiously peeked at the Lords and Ladies arriving at the grand ceremony. My Lady had been standing next to her Lord Husband-Tyland Lannister with their three-year old heir, of whom she speaks less and less recently.

Prince Daemon Targaryen had been waiting for quite some time at the altar without a care in the world, as his bride was late. Aeirwen Targaryen was supposed to arrive with Queen Alicent Hightower and King Viserys the Peaceful. Although when they entered the chamber the King spoke of the happy union between his brother and lady Aelin's sister, Queen Alicent came up to the Dragon and spoke to him in a hushed tone.

The ceremony would not go further.

The bride has been missing.

The Queen had thrown all of King's Landing upside down in search of Lady Aeirwen, but it became clear that Aeirwen was nowhere to be found. The Rogue Prince used the opportunity to disappear, without anyone questioning it, and made his way to his loyal friend- Caraxes.

Meanwhile, as the day was closer to its end, Prince Aemond Targaryen proposed to take his dragon and look for his ̶l̶a̶d̶y̶ ̶w̶i̶f̶e̶   friend*. Reluctantly the Queen approved and sent her eldest son as well.

The next day, the kingdom welcomed the news of a successful marriage ceremony. One of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Daemon Targaryen.

It became apparent to everyone that both of them had something to do with Ser Laenor's death and the disappearance of young Lady Aeirwen. Especially when it was later revealed by Princess Rhaenyra that the girl was supposed to be back home in the evening.

Aeirwen hadn't come back to the Keep that day, nor any other that year. After two years of looking for the girl, she was pronounced dead. The Princess of Dragonstone revealed the truth about the girl's disappearance and took the blame for her death.

As it turned out, the girl was very much alive.

[Notes taken on Casterly Rock. To be transported to the Old Town and copied.]

*- at this point Lady Aeirwen was not yet married to Prince Aemond Targaryen, although my lady mistakenly had said, her sister was Prince Aemond's wife. Lady Aelin's age must be taking the toll on her.
