"How are you settling in?" Johanna Lannister asked, scaring the young Tytos. Aelin turned around to look at the woman. She was dressed in rich red fabrics and carried herself with pride of a Lion despite being from the Westerlings.

"I am good." She smiled warmly. "And my son enjoys Casterly Rock as much as I do." She threw a look at Tytos who was staring at Johanna with his big, violet eyes.

The woman nodded. "I came to offer my sympathies. We all have heard about the disappearance of your sister. She was quite young, wasn't she?" Johanna, Aelin noticed, had spoken about Aeirwen as if she were dead. She was not. Of that, Aelin was certain. Her sister was resourceful, smart and above all cunning. Perhaps it was good that Queen Alicent had taught her the last quality...

"Mommy!" Tytos exclaimed and showed her his toy. It was a wooden lion that Tyland gifted him before they departed from King's Landing. Aelin smiled at him.

"Thank you, Lady Johanna. It means a lot." She turned to her, just as Tytos started to roll around and laugh.

Jason's wife nodded too and looked at the boy. "He looks like Tyland. Only the eyes are different."

"He has my nose." Aelin noticed, but Johanna only met her gaze.

"We mothers always look for the similarities in our children when there are none." She said with a bitter voice. "The supper will be served soon."

"Thank you." When Johanna Lannister departed, Tytos walked over to Aelin and reached up, wanting to be carried. "Come here," She grunted, raising him. "We're together now. You and I. Free from the vipers." She kissed the tip of his nose and he chuckled.

"Mommy!"

"Soon you will have a sibling and we'll not be alone."

Her son looked confused for a moment, but then his smile returned on his lips. "Brother?" Aelin shrugged and put him down on the couch.
