Quick shout out to TNSJiley_Infinity because your latest chapters of Scars really inspired parts of this. This is a really long one shot but I hope it's okay.

James' POV

Today was my first day back in A-troupe after returning from my dad's job transfer. It had been a little over a month and I was pumped to see everyone again. Especially Riley, I have to apologise to her. I dumped her to see other girls when I was gone and she hasn't spoken to me since, she must have changed her number because I can't call her. Emily blocked me and their home phone is also blocked but I know she'll be at the studio. She loves dance. I feel pretty guilty about what I did to Riley; she was diagnosed with depression due to bullying at school. She was cutting and had acute bulimia, her father was also recently dead and I dumped her in order to not have to constantly worry about her. I mean I guess I told her only to call me in emergencies but I hadn't heard a thing. Which worries me seeing as she attempted suicide but she wouldn't now, not after losing her father...? Would she?

I dated other girls while away but it didn't feel right. Sure they were really hot and easy but they were different to Riley. I became a player again while away and I'm not proud of that. I connected with Riley in a way that I never connected to anyone else and I know she felt the same. After my family found out about me and Riley, my sisters wouldn't talk to me and my parents were ashamed which hurt but it's my life. Besides I'm gonna get Riley back.

I park outside the studio and casually stroll into studio A and see everyone, except Riley and Emily which is weird. But something weirder is going on right now. No one is talking to me, just glaring at me and whispering. I head towards Eldon but Michelle takes his hand and they... walk out? What? Eldon's my boy! Maybe West.

"Yo, West" I exclaim heading towards one of my bro's but he just gets a warning look from Steph and turns away from me.

"What?" I shout to A-troupe. You think they'd like to say hi to a friend of theirs who's been gone for ages. But I guess not. Then it hits me. Riley. Something must have happened.

"Jerk" I hear Giselle whisper to Chloe as she agrees and they continue to glare at me. But if something had happened surely someone would have told me about it?

"James, welcome back. We missed you" Miss Kate smiles as she enters the room, shortly followed by Emily, who just shoots a glare at me. They have a quick, quiet conversation before Miss Kate speaks again.

"Emily and Michelle will lead you in a warm up then teach James the routine. I'll be in my office. Oh and James, we're having a welcome back party for you tonight, your family said you're free" she glances at me before walking out.

"Umm Emily? Shouldn't we wait for Ri-" I begin to ask before she cuts me off

"You have no right to even mention my sister's name! Especially after what you did to her James!" She shouts at me before beginning the warm up. Leaving me stunned, but A-troupe doesn't even look at me. This sure will be fun.

Riley's POV

I'm currently sat in the juice bar waiting for my boyfriend to meet me. I couldn't face dance today, not knowing that James would be back. Emily said she'd tell Miss Kate for me, which I'm grateful for but I have to attend the party tonight seeing as my boyfriend is playing a few songs.

Since James broke up with me, only 3 days after he left, I started dating Gray. He was new to my school and took a fancy to me straight away...

*FlashBack*

I sit almost in tears as I think about James. How could he do this? He told me he loved me?

"Ah you must be my new student" my new English teacher announces as a tall boy, with blonde hair and brown eyes, enters the class room.
