Riley's POV
"You look so hot babe" James gawks as I hop into his car. I'm wearing a deep purple minidress with black strap heels and a leather jacket. My blondish hair curled and resting on my shoulders.
"I wanted to make a good impression" I reply innocently, making him chuckle.
James is taking me to a party one of his school friends is throwing. I've only met a few of his guy friends outside the studio once or twice so I'm really nervous. But James is relaxed as always.
"Well you look hot, which is my favourite impression" he smirks, leaning forward to kiss me. We share a gentle but passionate kiss, lasting about 2 minutes, pulling away as James starts the car and heads off to his friends house.

We arrive outside a 3 story house, music booming and people passed out on the front lawn. Usually when we go to the parties of A-troupe and this happens James is protective of me, but today he's jogging up the stairs into the house as I struggle to catch up.
"Jack" James jeers, giving this tall brunette a bro hug
"Hey man" Jack replies, then stealing a glance at me as I stand there awkwardly.
"James are you going to introduce us?" I question from beside him but he's hardly listening, too busy staring at a group of girls flashing him smiles. I nudge him but he doesn't take his eyes off the girls.
"Yeah later babe" he mumbles half heartedly. "Where can a man get a drink round here man?" He asks Jack, who gives him a list of different places.
I try to protest, as James is driving us home but he just walks off, clearly not listening.
"Jack" he says extending a hand to me
"Riley" I sigh, looking in the direction my boyfriend just disappeared in
"He's your ride huh?" Jack asks sympathetically
"yeah, I guess I'll walk tonight" I sigh again
"Hey if you need a lift I can always drive, I'm staying sober" he chuckles showing me his can of coke "now, what can I get you Riley?"
"Anything nonalcoholic?" I giggle and he leads me through different groups of people, many who just stare at me.

Finally Jack hands me a can of diet coke and runs off as he hears a smashing sound, excusing himself.
"Riley?" I hear from a familiar male voice
"Hey Alex" I smile, one of the few friends of James I've met before
"Where's James? Don't tell me he abandoned you alone in this mad house" he chuckles, and I roll my eyes as a yes.
"Well I'll look after you Ri, some of this lot can get rowdy" he says suddenly serious, making me smile at how much he cares.
"Hey Al' who's this?" A girl, with curly brown hair and brown eyes asks
"Rosie, this is Riley" he introduces, we both say hi and this girl seems really sweet.
"I'm Jack's sister" she explains as Alex interrupts
"Can I leave you with Rosie to go find James Ri?"
I nod and he runs off, deep into a crowd of music in the direction of booming music.
"So you're here with James?" She questions sweetly
"Yeah, mines my boyfriend" I explain as she leads me to a group of girls, who I assume are her friends. But stops when I mention dating James.
"Boyfriend? How long?" She asks suddenly serious
"Nearly two years" I smile but her pitiful facial expression confuses me
"What's up?" I'm suddenly worried
"James never mentioned to anyone at school that he had a girlfriend, and from the way he acts with all the girls no one would assume he did..." She trails off and suddenly my heart stops.
"Are... Are you sure he never mentioned me?" I croak and she looks at me sympathetically
"I'm sorry Riley. If we knew we would of been shocked when Jack caught him in the janitor closet with Stacey yesterday" then she suddenly realises what she said and covers her mouth

"Who's this Ro'?" A group of girls ask Rosie
She explains who I am and what just happened but I'm hardly listening. James was caught in a closet with another girl yesterday? He's been cheating on me? After everything with Beth and he's still been cheating?
"Riley? You look like you're going to pass out?" Alex asks, placing a hand on my shoulder as he just reappeared.
"I erm... I need air" I whimper and Rosie starts to lead me towards what looks like a garden but Alex stops her and whispers something to her. Suddenly she tries to change direction but I've already seen it.

James is sat outside with a group of guys, cigarette in his mouth, lighting it, stuffing the lighter back in his pocket  and taking a drag. Two beer bottles at his feet and several scattered around him. But worst of all. A blonde, giggling, is sat on his lap, kissing his neck.
I freeze.
I allow Rosie to tug on my arm and lead me away. James is a totally different guy right now. My boyfriend never smoked, never cheats. All the I love you's were all lies. The 'it's only you, it's always only been you' was all lies.

I sit on a couch, still not believing what I just saw. Rosie and Alex go to find me water.
"What's up beautiful" I hear a masculine voice beside me
I look up and see a guy, West height, but blonde with green eyes next to me.
"What's a sexy little thing like you doing here alone?" He smirks, draping an arm behind me and scooting closer.
"Cat got your tongue sweetheart? I'm sure I can pry it out" he smirks again, placing one hand on my thigh, pretty high up, and leaning in to kiss me. But I pull away.
"I have a boyfriend" I stutter and stand up
"I don't see him?" This guy chuckles but I just glare at him and look for a bathroom.
I head up the stairs but once I reach the top I stop frozen.

I see James locking lips with the girl from earlier. Hickeys all over her chest, and now their tongues attached to the others mouth, their hands all over each other.
I sniff slightly and whimper when I see him pull away, smiling and pull her into a room.
Knowing what they'd be going in there I turn and run down the stairs. James told me I was the only girl he'd slept with since we first dated as he was my first, but clearly not.

I run into Jack, who notices my tear stained cheeks and red eyes.
"Riley? What's happened?" He questions but I shake my head
"Can you take me home?" I plead and he leads me out of the house into his car.
Once he drops me off he gives me his number, not to hit on me but because he wants to know I'm okay.
I stumble into the house and straight into Emily's arms, telling her everything.

James POV
I wake up in a spare room on Jacks house, someone's naked body next to mine. I smile, rolling over assuming it's Riley's, but it's Stacey. Which makes me worry slightly. How did Riley get home? And does she know?
I quietly get dressed  and tiptoe down the stairs. If Riley knows I need to sort this. She needs to know the other girls were just bored flings at school, she's the one I want, she's the only one I've ever loved. If she doesn't know I'll play if off on being drunk.

Once in my car I chuck my friends lighter and pack of fags onto the dashboard, I'm not sure why they're in my pocket seeing as I only have the odd smoke at parties because its only recently I started, and call Riley.
"It appears the number you're trying to contact has blocked this number"
I try again, and again, and again, the same message playing.
She knows.
I consider lighting up to calm myself, but if I turn up smelling of smoke Riley will say that's another thing I lied to her about.
"Whatever" I mumble, lighting up as I pull away from Jacks house.

I pull up at Riley's house, putting out my cigarette on the road, and head up to her house. I knock on the door, several times before Emily opens it. She looks me up and down, then slams the door in my face.
Riley told her.
Next I try Riley's balcony, I always used to sneak into her room and cuddle until she fell asleep, or make out, or occasionally if she was home alone we'd screw. I climb the post and swing up like usual, but once I get there the curtains are drawn, except on small crack. I peer in and see Riley crying her heart out in Emily's arms. She's screaming about how stupid she was as Emily rocks her. I try the door, but it's locked... Riley's balcony door is never locked?
I steal one more glance and see how much I've messed up. I lost the one girl I'd ever loved over stupid flings...
Riley will never forgive me....
