So this is gonna touch on the aftermath of 4x20, namely the Ralfie kiss.

It was a huge mistake, she knew from the second her brain registered his lips against hers. It took her but a second to pull back as soon as she realised what she was doing. She'd just cheated on the love of her life, with Alfie

Her heart raced as the act settled in, boy had she fucked up.
Sure she had some feelings for Alfie, but she loved James
Loved him with everything she had, and now she'd ruined it, she'd ruined everything.

She knew Alfie had feelings for her, strong feelings and yet she still agreed to meet him, she sat as he sung, and now she's going to lose James because of her stupidity
James had spent months proving his love for her with that list, and she just threw all that work away

She had to tell James, she had to. He couldn't find out from someone else, it would hurt him that much more.
Not to mention that he was coming home in a matter of days, but no, she couldn't wait that long

The blonde stepped back from the Prince, throwing her hand over her mouth before tears formed in her eyes
"This- this never happened!" She shouted as she sobbed, before turning on her heels and running out of the room
She would tell James, of course, but no one else needed ever know about what happened

She locked herself in the music room and pulled out her phone with shaking hands,
Pressing on her contacts, James was at the top as she'd called him earlier in the day but failed to reach him
Again she dialled his number, holding the shaking phone to her ear, waiting for the call to connect
But she was met with an immediate beep, the number was already engaged
"J-J-James... I really need to talk to y-yo-you" she stuttered as she sobbed to his voicemail

But she didn't know someone was already telling James, she'd seen them kiss with her own eyes after all, and James was her brother
"Pipes, calm down I can't understand you" her brothers cool voice sighed down the phone, while she stood shaking
"Riley, she, she" she stuttered but got cut off from continuing by her brothers panicked questions of
"What about Riley? Is she okay? Is she hurt?"
"She kissed Alfie" she choked,  not quite believing what she was saying, and clearly James couldn't either, judging by the silence on the other end
"She... she what? Alfie? Piper you must have the wrong person. Riley wouldn't do that"

"I saw them James, I was meeting Alfie for duet rehearsal and he was kissing her, guitar in hand so I guess he sung some romantic song and she got caught up, but I don't know" the young teen panicked, recounting the scene she'd walked in on
"Did she kiss him, or did he kiss her? Did she even pull away?" His voice cracked suddenly as he questioned his sister further
"I don't know, James, I walked in and they were kissing, then I left"
"Thanks for telling me Pipes, I erm, I gotta go" her brother mumbled before abruptly hanging up

The young brunette sighed as she placed her phone on her bed, looking at a photo of her family and Riley on her wall.
Tears collected in her eyes as she remembered the trip to their family farm for their grandparents wedding anniversary.
How James had held Riley tightly in his arms as Arthur took the photo, the pair looking at each other lovingly.
Everything would change now

"James... where are you?" The blonde whispered to herself as once again her call rang out, it was nearly 10pm and she'd been trying to reach him since 7, but now she was at home.
Honestly it's like he was ignoring her calls, but he wouldn't?
There's no way someone could of told him, but what other explanation is there

She put her phone down after a final attempt, smiling adoringly at her lock screen. It was her and James laying in her bed after one of their weekly 'sessions'
As usual Emily was at Stephs, and her parents were away on business, meaning James was staying over, and as usual things ended up with them in bed together
