♧ Alice's POV ♧

Liz and I were waiting for Kol to arrive when we heard yelling outside. We peaked our heads out the side of the door.

Noah stood with a cross bow -full of wooden stakes- while Kol was leaned against his truck.

"I won't let you use them as human blood bags, vamp!" Noah yelled.

"Why don't we all use our words and put down the stick launcher?" Kol asked.

"If I do that you'll get rid of me and go right back to hurting Alice!" Noah shot back.

"I feel so loved." Liz mumbled.

"I'd never hurt Alice." Kol growled.

"Yeah? But you'd drink from her?" Noah asked.

Suddenly, Noah was against the building, being held by his throat. Kol growled and Noah started to choke.

"Noah!!" Liz exclaimed.

Noah fell to the ground.... dead.

"Noooo!!" We both yelled.

Liz ran to him and put his head in her lap. She cried and silent tears ran down my face as I stood next to them.

"Bring him back." I mumbled.

"I can't-" Kol started.

"- turn him." I said. Liz looked up and slowly nodded.

"Do it." She said.

"I could only do that if he wasn't-" Kol started.

"He's breathing! !!!" Liz exclaimed. I checked his pulse.

"He's almost gone." I said.

"Kol, please turn him." I begged. Kol sighed and nodded. Kol looked me in the eye as he bit his wrist and made Noah drink it. Kol snapped his neck and we flinched.

Later that day
Back in Charlestown

I stood outside the room as Liz waited for her brother to wake up.

Kol went back to his house and I'm not sure what to think. Should I be mad? Should I ask him why he didn't want to hurt me? Should I avoid him?

I heard groaning from Noah's room. I walked in and Liz motioned me to come closer.

I sat down next to her on his bed.

He woke up gasping and looked at us wide eyed.

"I-I was-" he started.

"Dead?" I asked. He nodded slowly before his eyes went wide.

"How?.... you.... did he?... he turned me?" Noah asked.

"You let him turn me into a monster?!?" He yelled at me.

"He saved your life and he can help-" I started.

"He killed me!" Noah exclaimed.

"I asked him to!" I defended him. Noah clenched his fists.

"He's compelled you and he's erasing your memory!" He snapped.

"If he needed my blood I'd let him drink cuz I trust him!!" I yelled.

Noah was silent.

"You should leave, Alice." He muttered.

"Call me tonight." Liz said as I stormed out of their house.

I can't believe him! If he was using me I'd know and I wouldn't let him! I love him-

..... I think I'm in love with a vampire.

At Kol's house.

Ding
Dong

I rang his door bell. A few minutes later I heard shuffling.

Kol opened it up. He looked wrecked. Kol looked really sick and he had a bottle of whiskey.

"Are you drunk?" I asked.

"No, it helps with the.....cravings." He said. It was awkward for a moment til I realized...

"Are you trying to go on a diet?" I asked. He smiled sheepishly.

"I wanna be able to be around you more. Unless your mad then-" he started. I stood on my tip toes and gave him a light kiss.

Veins appeared under his eyes and he bit his lip.

"Alice-"

"I trust you." I said. I stepped inside, took his hand and shut the door. I sat him on the couch.

"Where do you keep your blood bags?" I asked. He was about to say something, but I crossed my arms. The veins dissapearered and he chuckled.

"Fridge." He smiled.

I walked to his kitchen and opened the fridge door. The fridge was full full of beer, cyder and whiskey. There was another door with a safety lock on it.

I opened it to find an enormous supply of blood bags.

I grabbed four and walked into the living room.

"So, you live in a man cave with liquor, blood and old cars?" I giggled.

"How can you be so calm?" He asked.

I turned around to see him leaning against a wall.

"I trust you." I said as I walked closer and handed him a blood bag. He smiled at me and I flopped on the couch.

"Your in the house of a blood thirsty, starving vampire and you-" he started.

"-are head over heals for the vampire that choked my best friend to make a point? Yeah, I should probably thank you. But now I'm rambling." I inturrpted.

All of a sudden I was standing and he was looking into my eyes.

"Your in the house of a murderous vampire that flipped the switch years ago yet I'd do anything for you. I don't know how you do it, but you make me feel human." He said.

We both stared at each other's lips and he put his hand on my cheek.

"I don't wanna loose control." He whispered.

"Then don't." I said quietly.

From then on no matter what happens.... I still don't regret a thing. Kol was my first love and I'd die a thousand times for him to be my last.
