"How can we trust him?" Noah asked. Noah has been giving Kol the If looks could kill glare since we walked into the cabin...... holding hands.

"Because I trust him and he hasn't done anything wrong." I said.

"Alice, he could have compelled you-" Liz started.

"Or bitten you." Lisa practically growled.

"That's it." I whispered.

"He has!?" Noah yelled standing up and glaring at Kol. Noah reached for his pocket, getting lots of looks from the people around us.

"No. I meant he could compel me and ask if I have ever been compelled before." I said grabbing Noah's hand and making him sit down again.

"No." They all said (Including Kol) in unison.

"Alice, I'm not going to compel you." Kol said.

"Yes, you are." I said. Kol bit his lip and sighed. He reached around my neck to take off my necklace.

"Wh-" I started to ask.

"He must have put vervain in your necklace." Noah said.

"How did you know about vervain?" Liz asked.

"What's Vervain?" Lisa asked.

"Vervain is an herb that can be used for protection against vampires. If you wear it or consume it then they can't compel you or drink your blood." Kol said.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom." Liz said, rolling her eyes.

I held my head and groaned in pain. I heard Kol asking what was wrong, but it sounded so far away.

I spotted a piece of paper in Kol's jacket and took it out. I grabbed the pen that was next to the check and wrote down the two numbers.

"What's going on?" Noah asked.

"Alice, Are you ok?" Kol asked. He looked so worried. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at the piece of paper.

"May I?" He asked, gesturing towards the note. I nodded and handed it to him.

"99 6?" He asked.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Lisa asked.

"Someone is going to die today." I whispered.
