♡ Alice's POV ♡

*Where are you?*

*We're worried!*

*Alice!!*

I ignored all the texts and messages as I snuck back to the Hardwick's house and changed.

I looked outside to see that the sun was rising. It was gorgeous especially on the water. Like a mirror.

I decided to wear some different earrings today and keep it simple. I put on light pink rose earrings with some makeup. (Pic on side).

I grabbed my skateboard and started to make my way to the storage locker. I looked around only to have my brown wavy hair whipped into my face. I gathered my hair to the other side of my head and spotted the storage lockers.

I slowed down and hopped off, grabbing my board and scanning the place for Ben or Kol.

Where are they?

I round a corner and saw nothing. I huffed.

I then heard a slow whistle. I spun around to see Ben. Finally!

He was just leaning on a storage locker like he had all the time in the world. He lazily waved to me and smirked.

What's up with him?

I jogged over to him and smiled.

"You said you saw Kol?" I inquired.

"You know he's dangerous, right?" Ben asked as he played with the bottom of his jacket.

I gave him a weird look. Was he drunk? High?

"What are you on about, Ben?" I asked. He smirked at the ground and shook his head.

All of the sudden he banged his fist on the nearest storage locker, leaving a massive dent.

Anger issues.

There was a nagging feeling in the back of my head to run and call the cops......

Yet, I held my ground. I didn't back away and cower in fear. I slammed my board and the ground, startling him.

"Ben Randy, where is Kol?! What's going on with you?! I'm not in the mood to see you get arrested again and I will not stand here in an empty storage locker like some girl in a horror movie!!" I exclaimed.

I walked toward him with every sentence, til he was back against the metal walls of the storage locker, making a small bang noise.

He clenched his jaw and fist, before taking deep breaths.

"Alice, I don't want to hurt you-" he started giving me all that.

"What a load of rubbish!!!! Why did you call me here? Are you dealing?!" I demanded.

He was about to answer when I gasped.

"Your a were-duck!!!" I shouted, covering my mouth with my hands in suprise.

He gave me the 'What the bunny?' look.

"No, Al! I'm a werewolf!" He exclaimed.

Lke it was obvious.

I remembered Kol saying that were-wolves turned on a full moon and having an urge to kill...... vampires.

They want to rid the world of vampires.

"What have you done with Kol?" I asked, weakly.

"What he deserves!!!!!" Ben yelled.

"Deserves?!? What has he ever done wrong?" I asked.

"He drinks from people! He's a brutal killer-"

"He drinks from animals and blood bags!" I corrected.

"He's brain washing you-"

"I wear and drink vervain!" I defended.

We stepped closer to eachother, not backing down. Ben's eyes turned gold and I saw his fangs.

"Admit it!!!" He roared.

"No." I stated, crossing my arms.

Somehow I was confident that I would be fine. Whenever some hung supernatural shows up I gave no fear.

Ben threw me into one of the storage lockers and started to slak towards me.

I moved my head, ignoring the pain and saw the giant dent on the wall behind me.

Ben started to choke and the only thoughts running through my head were thoughts of self pity and apologies.

I'm sorry that I didn't figure it out sooner, Kol.

I should have backed down.

"BEN!" Someone yelled.

Ben's grip loosened, but u was still choking.

"Ben, if you really hate vampires then don't turn into one. Protect your home and all, but Alice is innocent. Don't you remember us? Alice Waters and Elizabeth Hardwick!" Lisa said.

Thank you for Lis!

Ben's grip was so loose I could breathe and his fangs were gone.

"Please, Ben." Lisa pleaded him.

In a flash Ben was hugging Lisa. Ben buried his face in her neck and inhaled deeply. That's when I saw the massive shot needle she held over his back. She whispered a 'Sorry' and stabbed him with it.

He groaned and fell to the ground.

"Well, Lisa Wylie, the wolf whisperer." Liz said as she emerged from behind the corner.

"If only I knew." Lz sighed, making claw motions. We laughed.

"We need to leave. He might have back up." Lisa said. She looked down at him, sadly.

We started to scramble to the car. They loaded Ben up in the back. I took one last look before opening the door and-

Wait! A voice whispered in my head.

I stopped and my vision was blurry. If you could imagine a cat's vision that's what I saw.

My vision zoomed in on the number '17' painted on the road. It then moved down to the number '21' on a storage locker.

I dropped my keys in suprise and saw a key with the number '9' on it.

It wasnt one of those bad feelings that was going around in my stomach and the adrenaline I got when I grabbed the keys, ignoring my friend's cries.

Kol.
