♤ KOL'S POV ♤

Bark
Bark

I chuckled realizing that Alice must have changed my ring tone.

I was walking to her house. I could see the sunset on the water and the cloud-free sky.

I picked up the phone and heard Alice's voice. I didn't get to hear what she was saying because I heard the click of a stake gun.

"Put down the phone, Blood sucker." A raspy voice said in my ear.

I pressed end call and vamp sped toward the sound. I kicked the gun away and heard my phone ring again.

Before I could answer it was taken from my hand.

I saw the last person I suspected standing in front of me with Alice's name flashing on the screen of my phone that they held.

"Shall I answer and tell your little blood bag to get over here?" He asked.

"No!" I exclaimed. There was no way I was going to let her get hurt on my account.

"Then you'll do exactly as I say." He said meniacally.

Then all I saw was black.

Alice's POV ♤

Did he just hang up on me?

Seriously?!

I grumbled to myself and called again.

Come on Kol. Please pick up.

Kol please.

"You've reached Kol Olson. I'm probably out at the moment. If your looking for trouble I suggest you hang up." His voice mail played again.

I couldn't help but giggle at his attempt to create a normal voice mail.

"He won't pick up." Noah said, leaning against his car.

We were at his house, in the drive way to be more exact. I looked to my left and saw the sunset on the water of Charles town.

"Why would you say that?" I asked Noah suspiciously.

"He's a vampire. His intentions are never pure." Noah said.

"If your suggesting that he used me then I'll only say this once I love him." I snapped.

I saw Noah clench his fists and his fangs came out.

"I would know." He said.

I knew he was trying to scare me and sometimes I forgot that he was a vampire too. He was really good at hiding it. Kol took him hunting for animal blood and he's never had a craving.

Yet.

"And now it's back." He said, venomously.

"What's back?" I asked confused.

Noah pushed himself off the car and slowly stalked towards me. He stopped in front of me and his breath hit my face.

It smelled like.... like..... Blood.

"The urge to kill." Were the last words I heard him say. He vanished in a gust of wind.

What have I done?

I stood there just staring at the spot where my childhood crush used to be.

I heard the door open and my head snapped up.

"Alice? What are you doing here?" Liz asked.

All I remember was crying and sobbing out what had happened.

My best friend's brother who used to like hated me, My boyfriend wasn't there when I needed him most, My parents thought I was insane, I never found out who died at the Cabin and my friend not only had green eyes now, but is avoiding us.

Liz and I cried as we watched the Vow. I threw popcorn at the screen when Canning Tatum told his wife that he couldn't be her punching bag.

"Dot leave now!!" Liz cried.

Later on Liz fell asleep, leaving me with my thoughts.

What if he skipped town?

What if he did leave?

What if I was in that asylum right now?

What if Noah was the murderous masked figure?

That's when I let sleep take over me.

I dreamt of three numbers.......
