*QUICK NOTE*

The guy up above or right beside this chapter is none other than redhead Sebastian. There's another redhead in this book named Erik but his picture won't pop out till later. Maybe even a self p.o.v. chappie, I don't know. ;)

Anyways, enjoy!

[HER P.O.V.]

I had planned to enter unnoticed through the side door where employees enter but my efforts were useless. As soon as I set foot into the building I was caught by Sebastian in the act and when he saw me he did not look at all pleased.

He stopped what he was doing and made quick, large strides in my direction. He was already intimidating with his towering height of 6'2 but when he got angry his face contorted to an all new level of scary. When he neared me he reached for my arm and pulled me to follow him into his office. After shutting the door with a slam, he forced me to look at him in his eyes by holding my face forward with both of his hands. His palms stayed firmly on my cheeks as he spoke with agitation.

"What the hell are you doing here showing up if you were given a three weeks off notice?" He spoke, not holding back even an ounce of rage in his tone.

All I wanted to do at that moment was hide under his desk in fear but I firmly stood my ground.

"I wanted to work." I spoke with all the courage I could muster.

"Naw sh*t, you don't think I know that? The problem here is that I don't want you working here right now. I don't even want to see you anywhere near this premises, period."

I felt myself burn with anger at his words. They stung and I used that as motivation to believe I needed to continue. "How can you say that to me when you know I love this job? It's the only thing that helps me get through the day."

He breaks his gaze from my eyes and looks to the side as his face becomes blank of emotion. The strength of his hands on my face loosen and drop to his side as if he had given up on the topic. "Stop it, Jenna. I don't want to hear it anymore."

"Why? I'm not letting this go. You know better than anyone how much this means to me. I won't leave until you tell me why!"

Sebastian's face instantly became full of emotion once again as he faced me and charged towards me. He grabbed my shoulders and pushed me roughly against the wall.

"It was Because I wasn't able to protect you, damn it!" He screamed.

My eyes went wide from shock at his unexpected outburst. His face became twisted with grief as he looked down again, his eyes, two green pools of self-loathing and remorse. His strong and painful grip he had on my shoulders tightened.

"I was supposed to be there to save you from your panic attacks. Hell, I was supposed to be there to prevent them and yet, what did I do? Nothing. Nothing but watch you suffer. I was supposed to protect you and I failed. I would rather have you home where I wouldn't see you and be reminded of my guilt every time I did."

I felt my chest fill with regret when I thought of how inconsiderate I had been towards Sebastian's feelings and couldn't help but feel grateful towards him. He was always there for me when I needed him and he deeply cared for me. I considered him an important part of my life and wouldn't know what to do without his support.

I smiled lovingly at the man in front of me and lifted my hand towards his face to cup his cheek. I nudged him to lift his downcast head so that he could look me in the eye. He gazed into my eyes while I gently patted his cheek as in motivation to cheer him up.
