[HIS P.O.V.]

My eyes followed and ran greedily but slowly over the living barbie doll's body until her swaying figure, wrapped in the gold shimmery silk that caressed her curves even more than a wrapper around a sweet gumdrop, vanished. Disappearing behind the dense wooden doors that flapped without a single creak. Free from the loud screeching that their hinges would publicly announce, informing that they were thirsy for oil.

After what seemed like a few seconds, but in reality was a few minutes, I pulled my gaze away from where the beauty had escaped.

I turned to lock my stare with the ghost reflection of my twin on the shiny surface of the centerpiece's glass vase. His dark brown orbs glowed softly and shined in the setting sun's radiant light while a wry smile sewed a crooked line on his firm, square jaw. The strands of dirty blond that streamed down from the top of his skull lay softly on his head. But there was something different about my twin in my reflection.

No, there was something way more than different.

The expression that had currently planted itself on my face was something new to me. My eyes were revealing a glow I had never seen in them before out of all the times I have stared at my reflection. That smile that I tried wiping off my face but wouldn't seem to budge and the soft, scorching feeling inside my chest that tagged along with these new features were all the more frightening.

I couldn't figure out whether this change was because I was going insane or just suffering from an oncoming sickness. But I new one thing for sure; it wasn't going to go away anytime soon.

I rose my hands to make contact with my face as I rubbed it in restlessness, trying to soothe the burning in my chest and my jumbled mind that was contaminated with swirling thoughts and questions.

The bright rays of light that hit my eyes in that moment caught my attention and brought me to look over the solid, marble couter where customers would pay after eating their food. A large crystalized clock hung right above the very counter. The glassy embroidered clock grasping every inch of light and reflecting it into a million different colors blinded me with it's extravagance.

The majestic hands that ticked with every passing hour, every passing minute, and every passing second, caused me to stare at them in a hypnotic trance.

At that exact moment, the minute hand moved right above the embroidered number five and caused the glittering clock to chime a barely audible tune, announcing that it was currently 5:25 P.M.

I tilted my head to the side in confusion, wondering why the clock would ring at that time, when the lights dimmed from the shining chandeliers that hung high above the ceiling of the building.

I stared towards the strobe of light that pointed towards the flapping doors Jenna had disappeared through. For a moment, everything was dead silent. Not a single body moved and everyone was holding their breath.

One by one, men and woman with elegant clothing, slipped through the doors and stood beside one another. They hummed together making their muffled voices harmonize in a silky sound that was soft yet strong enough to reverberate throughout the entire building. They made a gentle tune with rapid changes of octaves and it amazed me how much talent they had. They continued for a few seconds until the last person slipped out of the flapping doors.

She slowly slipped through the doors and looked down at the ground as she graced towards the center of the choir. She looked up and her shiny, glittery eyes instantly met mine. They filled with water for some reason as she bit her lip trying to prevent her tears from falling. She intook a shaky breath and closed her eyes before opening her mouth. Out escaped her voice as she sung to the accompaniment of the large choir. I'm pretty sure everyone was as awestruck as I was.
