[HER P.O.V.]
The day goes by quickly until I arrive my fifth period class. I had finished my assignment and looked up to see how my classmates were doing. I sighed when I saw them all still working on their papers. I was never fond of or good at Chemistry, yet, I still finished before the entire class. I looked up at the clock and groaned when I saw there was still more than half the period left.
The class began to get noisy when I looked over my work for the fourth time. I groaned when I looked up at the clock again and saw that there was still twenty minutes left. Suddenly, I felt something jab into my side. I turned to witness my friend Ailene's irritated face. I groaned again only to earn a dirty glare from her. I giggled softly and poked her cheek.
"What? It's really entertaining when you get annoyed. Anyways, are you done?" I pointed to her paper on her desk and she nodded in reply. "Finally! I thought I was going to die of boredom. You know I hate this subject."
She tilted her head to the side as if confused before laying her chin in her palm. "I don't get it. Your one of the smartest students in school, hell, you're the smartest of the smartest nerds in the entire school and yet, you don't like Chemistry. I've know you since Kindergarten and I still don't understand."
I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know I just think of Chemistry and I get the hibbie jibbies." I grabbed my shoulders and rubbed them as I made my body tremble. She rolled her eyes at me and punched my arm as I laughed.
"Hey, how come you came late to first period? You've never, and I can't stress it enough, never been late to any class, ever. I thought you died or something." Now it was my turn to roll my eyes. I know I've at least been late to one class before.
"Whatever, I've been tardy before you're just over exaggerating." She looked at me seriously and I sighed at her persistence. She's my friend and all but she can be so stubborn. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you," I muttered as I laid my forehead in my palms, staring down at my desk. I felt her small hand touch my shoulder and I turned my head to look at her. She was giving me her usual 'you're so stupid' smile, and trust me, she showed it to me a lot. Oh, the irony. I chuckled lightly and smiled at her, she really was a true friend.
"Come on, how can I not when I was the very person who scared away what you called the evil dark warrior princess in your closet." My smile instantly wiped off my face and replaced with a frown.
"It was not an evil dark warrior princess, it was a life-sized Dora doll. It's not my fault that it looked so creepy, I thought its eyes were following me." This caused her to start laughing loudly, gaining a few stares from our classmates in our direction. I crossed my arms and pouted while she laughed her butt off."You really are something Jenna." She said between laughs.
"Tch, whatever, you're such a jerk you know that?"
After her laughing died down she turned serious. "But for real, I'll believe you so just tell me."
I hesitated knowing how she would react to my words. "Um...well...I kinda fell down the stairs-" I was cut off when Ailene started to panic.
"Oh my gosh you didn't get hurt did you? Did you sprain anything? You went to the infirmary right? You better have went to the nurse or you're going to end up in deep trouble missy."
"Hold up let me finish. I had got lost and was running late so while looking for my class I went running upstairs when I collided with someone. I was about to fall when the guy I bumped into grabbed me and saved me. We both fell but he saved my landing. He received a lot of injuries so I took him to the nurse's office."
