Mason - The protagonist of "Illusional". A 15-year-old teenager diagnosed with ADHD, along with nut allergies, at a very young age. He is pretty insecure about his maturity level and height (which is said to be roughly 5'6") He has gone through several personality changes after his mother passed when he was 7 years old, and is desperately seeking for a purpose in life.
Marleigh - Mason's "special" sister, 3 weeks younger than Mason and often favored by Bill, the kids' dad. Despite how spoiled she is treated, she is very humble to herself and to others, and never fails to turn a frown upside down.
Bill - Aforementioned to be Mason and Marleigh's dad, and 43 years old, he always had a good understanding what is right and what is wrong, and is always ready to protect his children from any potential danger coming their way. He is usually not impressed by much unless it's miraculous to him and anyone he loves. He is quite disappointed in Mason's behavior, but has favor toward's Marleigh's.
Stella - Mason's girlfriend, roughly a year younger than him. The two been together ever since 2nd grade, and she is a people pleaser. She even impresses Mason, his Christian group, and Marleigh, but doesn't seem to gain Bill's "ok". However, Bill allows Mason and her to be together... for now.
Brandon - Marleigh's girlfriend, 16 years old, and a very devout Christian, as well as the leader of the hidden Christian group. He is ever-so-slightly taller than Mason, has a muscular physique, and has been with Marleigh for almost 2 years, as well as helped Dad on several occasions.
Zachary - Brandon's twin brother, and co-founder of the hidden Christian group. Possibly had the worst childhood in existence, and always gets nervous and afraid when people aren't happy with him.
Phillip - The third member of the Christian group. Not much is known about him, nor does he want to share his history, though he is 17 years old.
Andrew - The fourth member of the hidden Christian group, as well as 17 years old, and a good friend of Dad, due to helping him several times. He is also more muscular than Brandon is.
Leo - The fifth member of the hidden Christian group. He is also very insecure about his maturity level, personality, and bodily appearance, and also has been diagnosed with ADHD. He is 15, 5 months younger than Mason.
John - The sixth member of the hidden Christian group. He is 14 years old (on the edge of 15) joined the group 3 months before Mason did, and is mostly into almost everything Mason is, including writing.
Jenny - The owner and operator of the winter cabin everyone will stay at. She is a 31 year old woman who is quite jolly and loves her job. Like Phillip, not much is known about her.
Mom - The mother of Mason and Marleigh, wife of Bill, 41 years old, and deceased. However, while she was alive, she loved her children dearly and supported them in everything they did, such as Mason's journaling.
