Pt.17

The room was pitch black until I heard a flick and the room filled with light

I spun slowly looking at Bennys walls which were all covered head to toe in baseball stuff

Baseball jerseys posters hats bats baseballs and trophies were displayed on shelves

He had medals hanging from thumbtacks in some places

"Wow rodrigeuz your room is.." I pushed trying to find the right words

But instead Benny kept putting words in my mouth for me

"Awesome? Cool? Spectacular? I know thank you" he smirked at me

"You could say that" I murmured as I took a few steps closer to his shelves

I started reading the different award names that are written on his trophies

I heard a door open and turned quickly

Instead of seeing Bennys mom or one of his siblings

I saw Benny standing at his closet taking off his shirt

"Benny I'm right here you know" I told him

I tried to make it seem like I was shocked and I wasn't staring at him

"I know" he stated and continued to find a old t-shirt from his closet

After he'd changed his shirt he plopped onto his bed

"So do you want to sleep on the bed or on the floor?" He asked

"The bed obviously im not sleeping on your dirty clothes" I scoffed smirking

I then crawled onto the bed beside Benny pushing him to the wall

"Go turn off the light Rodriguez" I said while getting under Bennys blankets

"Why me you go turn it off" Benny said offended

"Pleaseee" I asked batting my eyes and doing puppy dog eyes

"Fine" Benny sighed rolling his eyes and getting up

I smiled to myself satisfied with my slight manipulation

Within seconds of the light turning off I heard the bed creak as benny laid down beside me

I closed my eyes but opened them again abruptly

When I felt a hand wrap around my waist.. Bennys hand

I could feel butterflies in my stomach and thankfully it was dark

Because my cheeks started turning bright crimson red

And to top it off I felt Bennys breath on my neck as he said

"Goodnight mi amor" my knees went week and my heart skipped a beat

I choked when trying to speak for a few seconds

But I fought the lump in my throat and responded to Benny with

"Goodnight lover boy" I whispered and I could feel his smile on my neck

Within a few minutes my eyes slowly closed and I entered sweet sweet sleep

I fluttered my eyes open and looked around anxiously
