Dinner time was crowded since now we have two additional people to add. So the maids need to rearrange the table once again for all of us to fit. The ones that are really excited are the chef and the maid because there's Horangi.
Since I knew him from the first time, he's been a good cook. And he's also friendly, so that's why most of my workers like him very much. Especially the chef. They often exchanged recipes between themselves, even though in the end the chef still failed to make me Korean food. But they tried. And I appreciate that.
Because I want to kind of welcome both König and Horangi, I decided to have a BBQ outside. It was lively. And I love it. I missed this atmosphere so much. I hope my little brother enjoys it as much as I did.
Aunt Kate, Price, and Rio are gladly taking the job to cook the meat. While Horangi is helping the chef inside to make another food. Soap and Gaz, like usual, are playing with Theo while waiting for the food. While Ghost and König, yes, I don't know why, these two decided to stay by my side.
I mean, I know why König stays by me because we're close and he's not good with new people. But Ghost? I look to my side to look at him, who is already looking at me. I give him a confused look before I look away. Nevermind. As long as he's not bothering Theo.
I want to help cook for the meat, but Laswell knows better than to let me if they want to have a decent dinner. But hey, at least I'm trying to help, okay? It just so happens that cooking is not my specialty.
I sit myself on one of the chairs, which König follows. I threw him a glance as I propped my hand on the table and rested my head on my hand. Now fully looking at his side.
"Why do you come earlier? I thought it was next week." I raised my eyebrows as I searched his masked face. His eyes were wondering a little around his surroundings before he finally met mine.
"No reason, just want to see you."
I narrowed my eyes at his vague answer. Then I rolled them as I let my gaze wonder to Theo. "Want to see Theo then teaming up with him to rile me up."
He lets out a soft chuckle at my reply. "That's not funny." I said as I squinted my eyes at him, giving him a glare. He suddenly raised his hand, and instinctively I raised mine as well to defend myself, but once his hand landed on my head, he only wanted to pat me.
"Don't touch my head." I quickly swatted his hand away with a little too much force. Once again, he only laughed at my misery and then got up from his seat. "I'm going to help my soldier."
"You better not. I want to have a nice dinner, not a poison one."
He shakes his head at my remarks, then walks inside the house. In return, Ghost sits by my side, opposite where König has been. I turned myself to face him, raising my eyebrow as to ask him what he's doing there.
"You are interesting."
"And you mean by that?"
Ghost shrugged as his eyes landed on Laswell, Price, and Rio. They looked happy to be in their own world.
"Is 141 and KorTac don't have a good relationship?" I asked as my eyes followed where Ghost was looking. Unbeknownst to me, when he heard my question, his eyes moved to look at me. He remained silent for a moment before he looked away again to the three. "No."
I hummed as I nodded in understanding. "Then you guys somehow have to make it work. As long as you're staying here, that's it."
"How'd you know?" His question made me look back at him. I can't help but let out an amused chuckle.
